I walked into the OBGYN, feeling slightly out of place without Betty beside me. I walked to the back. I had to take another pregnancy test. It came back positive, and we couldn't figure out the date of conception, because me and Betty have had a lot of off and on sex because we were trying for a baby. I ended up doing an ultrasound. "You seem to be around 10-12 weeks," she kept twirling the thing around, then cut the machine off. I got several copies of the ultrasound and she asked me questions, and wanted to talk about how everything was so far. I left realizing I was starving, then went and picked up a burger at Pops. I went over to the newspaper place and started organizing tomorrow's newspaper. I had another guy that helped me named Jerry, but he was currently on vacation with his fiancé, Brent. I drove home and picked up on the house a little before picking up Ash. As soon as I got in the car I handed it to her," That's your brother or sister." She analyzed it for a minute," I think I'm getting a brother AND a sister," she stated smiling. I nodded my head and we drove home. She helped me cook dinner, which was chicken with box scalloped potatoes. As soon as we were done Betty came in. She gave me a kiss on the lips,I handed her the ultrasound. She marveled at it. "They think I'm around 10-12 weeks, but we're not really sure." She nodded smiling. "I gave Ash one, she seems pretty obsessed with it. She also told me she thought she was getting a brother AND a sister." "I mean, it runs in our family so it's not impossible." I chuckled," There's only one baby on the ultrasound," I said pointing. "We've gotta tell Archie and Veronica," Betty said. I nodded," I wonder if they'll ever have kids." "Veronica doesn't want any, she doesn't like the idea of someone like her, like her father, running around. Archie just kinda goes with the flow, he know he's gotta niece he can babysit and play with anytime." I nodded," We Can invite them over tomorrow night, or we can see if they'll meet us at Pops." Betty
smiles," Like old times sake, I like that."
