Aya, it's time you learned of my history with Avatar Roku and Firelord Sozin. You need to understand how the war began, if you want the help Avatar Aang end it. Meet me on my home island on the day of the summer solstice. Roku is giving Aang the same message.
Aya rolled over in her sleep and sighed. "Okay, Sapphire."
——
"There it is. There's Roku and Sapphire's home."
The team and I were flying to the home of the Avatar and the Fire Angel. Aang and I both had a similar dream last of Roku and Sapphire and they told us to come to their home island to learn about their past with Sozin.
Appa lands on the empty island and we descend off Appa.
"But, there's nothing here." Katara says, confused.
No, there's a whole village here, it's just underground.
"Yes, there is." Toph says as she feels the ground. "An entire village, hundreds of houses ...all completely buried in ash."
The team and I walk around the island and find a hardened wave of lava. Aang takes my hand and we sit at the sip of it together and close our eyes as the others stand back, waiting patiently.
Third Person's POV
Aang and Aya begin to meditate and Aang's tattoo's glow as Aya's wings appear and glow with fire. The scene cuts to the couple sitting on a mountain top with clouds surrounding them. Aang and Aya wake up as Roko, who is mounted on Fang, flies toward them and Sapphire was flying beside the dragon and past Avatar. Roku and Sapphire approach them and they give Aang and Aya a smile.
"Come, Aya." Sapphire flies closer to Aya and offers her a hand.
"Come, Aang." Roku offers Aang a hand.
"Where're we going?" Aang asks as he boards Fang and Sapphire lifts Aya into the air.
"To visits our pasts." Sapphire told the two and Roku smiles at Aang as Sapphire smiles at Aya. "Our shared past."
Sapphire leds Aya away as Roku flies away with Aang.
"What was your past like?" Aya asked Sapphire who just looked forward as they flew.
"My past is filled with love, sacrifice, mistakes, and family." She replied and squeezed Aya's hand. "It had its flaw but I wouldn't trade it for anything else."
Aya smiles at this and they continued forward.
The angels appear in a beautiful garden in the Fire Nation and the sun was radiating of the grass. A lovely home stood tall and two young girls were playing in the beautiful garden and laughing.
"Sapphire!" A girl with brown hair and grey eyes giggled. "Can you firebend for me?"
The older girl with brown hair and piercing gold eyes smiles softly at her little sister. "Ta Min, mother doesn't want me firebending."
The smaller child, named Ta Min, pouted and pleaded. "Please! Mother isn't here right now and I love watching you bend."
Sapphire sighed at the sight of her sister pleading and raised her hands. "Fine, but just for a little bit."
Ta Min giggled and jumped around. "Yay!"
"Shh!" Sapphire shushed her sister and motioned her to come closer, which Ta Min did. "Watch."
Sapphire formed fire in her and swirled it around. Ya Min gawked atthe sight and her eyes shined with happiness.
"Woah."
