It was a regular day I woke up and got dressed and did everything I do normally yesterday my dad got my bed set and I already have my decorations, I finished organizing and moving stuff around and my room is pretty good if I do say so myself. I was sitting on my bed writing song lyrics and what not it's no biggie I only write them for my self I would never actually sing them in front of people,
"NICOLE..!" My dad called from downstairs
"YES..!?" I call back
No response I literally hate that, I got up from my bed and closed the book and set it on my night stand I headed downstairs and saw my dad sitting on the couch I walked over and sat down on the couch across from him he looks nervous
" um is something wrong..?" I ask
" well no nothing is wrong it's just I have to speak with you" he said
I got really nervous and felt a weird feeling in my stomach
"okay go on" I tell him
" okay well how would you feel if I got in a relationship" he ask
I'm relieved I thought someone had died or something worse I could care less about him being in a relationship along as he's happy so be it
" oh I mean if it makes you happy go for it I'll be fine"I explain
"okay then we'll would u like to meet her later this week, she loves music, she has a music store that I invest in and oh she has had daughter that is your age,and if you want you can work at the store" he explains
He must really like her jeez anyway I mean that would be cool if I worked there I love music and it would give me something to do for when school comes and I could care less about the girl.
" yeah sure why not and are you serious about me working there cause I would be down.!"
" yeah ofc I'll talk to her and I will let you know"
He sounds excited I haven't seen him this happy in a really long time I don't wanna get close to her though but I can be nice it doesn't mean I have to like her. My dad made plans for us to have dinner so I can meet her and she has a daughter my age so hopefully she's not a bitch.
"Nicole got ready were gonna head out in 30 minutes..!" he called out
" alright..!" I yelled from upstairs
I went in my closet and picked out a nice black dress but it doesn't look like I'm going to a funeral just in case you was wondering I would wear my boots but were going out to eat so I'm just gonna wear my vans and the dress is tight so it look right. I was done getting dressed and doing my hair and everything and headed downstairs.
"ready..?" My dad asked
"yeup" I said with a faded smile
We walked to the car and headed to the restaurant, I guess we were gonna meet them there we got to the place and I got out the car and we went inside my dad waved at the women we walked over and the women and the girl stood up and pulled out their hand for me to shake and I did
" nice to meet you" the women said
"same here" I said giver her a polite smile
The girl gave me a polite smile and I gave one back she seems nice but still she could be a bitch so I'm gonna be careful.

We all sat down and I sat next to the daughter and my dad next to the woman. I keep saying woman but her name is Karen and the girls name is lana. She kept trying to talk to me and make conversations so I played nice and gave her short responses, kinda sort of being rude but not intentionally
what you can't blame me I didn't even know this women and then she's all of sudden, ughh you know what never mind I just need to play it cool I mean the daughter seems cool but she could be a conniving little bitch who knows. We wrapped up dinner and went back to my house and they came back with us.

"so why don't you girls go upstairs to your room and get to know one another" my dad said
I gave him a I don't really want to look, yes there is a look for that atleast for me anyway
"yeah it'll be good oh and if you want you can start working at the store on monday" Karen said
"um thank you" I said awkwardly
"so let's go up" I said to Lana
We walked upstairs and we walked in my room and I slightly pushed the door halfway closed halfway open. It was just straight silenced then I broke it
"so Lana um how are you" she looked at me and laughed
"I get it this is awkward but did you really just ask how am I" she laughed and I laughed
"yeah I didn't know what else to say "
"ok so show me around or at least your room"
"ok come on" we got up from my bed
"so this is obviously the bed room and if we walk over here it's the closet the-"
" whoa your closet is huge don't tell me you also have a time machine in there" she laughed
"haha no or maybe I don't conspiracy theory" we both laughed
"okay so over here is my bathroon"
"nice although my bathroom is bigger" she says sarcastically
"nice" we both laughed
"nah I'm joking but my bathroom is bigger"
"settle" I shake my head
"ok so tell me you got a boyfriend or girlfriend, I don't judge" she said
"ok one I'm straight and two no I do not and I don't want one, how about you"
"same I'm single and um I kinda have something to say but promise me you won't say anything because I need a little bit of advice"
"yeah I promise"
"ok so I'm having trouble with my um sexuality, well I like boys but idk *sighs* idk if I like girls too"
Wow did not see that coming what to say well I'm about to become a therapist really quick
"there nothing wrong with that your figuring out who you are and that's okay"
"thanks so what should I do to help me figure it out"
"um you should go out and find a person and have a one time thing to just see if you like girls"
"yeah maybe I will"
We smiled and plopped down on the bed
