𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬

Just Like You Said (Part 3)

"Excuse me, can I know where is Miss Y/n? " Chris ask one of the hospital staff. "Um sir, you do know right that Miss Y/n will be discharged today?" The staff gave him a confused look, Chris took his phone and checked the date. SHIT, yes today is the day Y/n will be discharged but where the hell she went? "Oh damn I forgot by the way I'm sorry but where did she went? She isn't at lobby too, did anyone came to pick her up?" Chris ask the staff another to  know where did she went. "I have no idea where she went but she said to pass this" the staff hand him an envelope.

Chris took it, thanking that staff.  He walked out from the hospital and got into his car. Once Chris got in, he opened the envelope revealing a letter then started to read it

Dear Chris, thank you for everything especially for all the help you have done. I'm eternally grateful for that always and I'm truly thankful to have you in my life. Chris, I'm really sorry for hurting you and your feelings towards me and I did hurt you badly the moment I rejected your love proposal. The reason I rejected you because I don't want to hurt you and your feelings towards me  because at the moment I didn't want to have commitments in my life including marriage, kids and everything. Since I saw my parents divorcing after a storm crashed in their relationship, I became afraid of love and relationship but the moment I saw you, I decided to take everything serious in my life including our relationship. I always wanted to take it to the next level but something was stopping me from it in that moment, something told me to break it all and be the person I was, who's afraid of commitments. That's the reason I broke off with you even I loved you so much because I don't want to break your heart but then I got my chance again after waking up from coma, I wanted to explain you everything but then I heard that  you moved on with someone, that's the moment I broke down all the way. I still had that hope you will forgive and accept me again but then all my efforts to gain back your trust vanished the minute you told me that you don't have any kind of feelings for me anymore. I decided to let go what I had for you Chris because there's no use of me still loving you but you moved on with someone else. Maybe we don't meant to be together but I'm happy that we got spend this few weeks as friends, I'm grateful for that. Congratulations on your relationship Chris, I'm so happy that you found someone who loves you. I hope she makes you happy Chris and I wish a very good luck for your future plans. Oh sorry by the way, I'm going back to London, my hometown. I will end up living there in my old house maybe I will find a job over there and settle down, well that's all and thank you so much for taking care of me Chris. Take care and be happy

Chris felt his heart wrenching when he finally know the real reason why Y/n rejected him and it wasn't even her fault, Y/n did that because she doesn't want to break his heart. Tears spilling down when he realized how badly he broke her down, he felt so guilty about that. Chris felt bad that he didn't give a chance for her to explain, he feel so bad about it but right now he needs to do one thing, find Y/n and spill out everything that he's hiding his heart.
