It's Friday night. Basically a free night since it's holiday for us tomorrow. Each of them were enjoying their time unlike me going through on some mission reports. Then I saw Y/n coming out from her room.

God damn. She look so gorgeous OH MY GOD. I'M FLATTERED. I was mesmerized by her beauty.
"Hey steve" she smiled. "Hey" I said which sounds like a cat . I immediately cleared my throat "Hey Y/n, you you look gorgeous" I smiled. Y/n blushed "thank you steve". "So where are you going?" I asked her. She answered "Just a dinner with Johnny". That's it, my smile immediately dropped and heart crushed into pieces. My chances are gone and Johnny finally got his shot.
"Oh ok, have a great day. see ya " i smiled while hiding my sadness and walked away. I went to Bucky and Sam's room.
Y/n POV
Steve just walked away like that. I thought he would at least show some signs of jealousy and stops me from going with Johnny but sadly he didn't. Well maybe I'm just stupidly developing more feelings over him and he didn't even care about me tho. Yeah right, he rejected me when I confessed to him about few weeks ago. I should stop being stupid and move on from this. I headed out from tower.
Steve's POV
Bucky and Sam gave me a proud smile but immediately dropped when the saw the sadness on my face.
"Hey pal, you alright?" Bucky asked. "Did you confess your feelings to her Cap?" Sam asked me this time. I just looked down and shook my head "no".
"Oh" they both sighed. "So where is she going?" Bucky asked. "She is going on date with Johnny" i sighed, " I lost my chance punk". Both of them had shock by what I told. "How do you know it's a "date" Cap?" Sam asked me. "Well she told me that they're going have dinner" I frown.
"Oh-eh wait?! She told you just a "dinner" only right? Not "dinner date"! Damn Cap, you missed her again. She and that fire alarm were just gonna have a simple friendly dinner after all. God damn you old man" Sam rolls his eyes.
"Erm that's right! She just told me dinner not a "dinner date". Gosh I really need to see her now and confess my love. Before Johnny could play his smartass tricks, I need to get my shot." I immediately run out from the room to find y/n. "Good luck Cap" they both said in unison.
Y/n's POV
Walking along with Johnny wasn't a bad idea tho. Besides being my ex, he was my first bestfriend in the world. So I don't feel any uncomfortable feeling around him and he is a nice guy to hangout ya know. "So honeybee, seeing someone special?" Johnny smirked. I blushed and smile to myself "urm yes" my mind immediately shifted to Steve but when the reality hits me, my smile immediately dropped "but no, he is not interested on me Storm."
"Really? A guy rejected you? He must really have some sort of problem" Johnny joked. I just smiled. Suddenly Johnny did something I didn't expected, he slide his arm on my shoulder. I looked up at him and he smiled.
Steve's POV
I run all the way down to town. Then I saw Y/n and Johnny walking in the hallway to the tavern. Johnny turns around and saw me looking over Y/n and him. He gave me a smirk and slide her his arm over her shoulder. That's it, my blood is boiling up. I clenched my jaw and held my hand in a tight grip. No matter what, I'm going to get my girl from this fire guy and that's for sure. I followed them silently.
After a few mins
I saw that y/n excused herself and heads to the restroom. This is the perfect time and thank god, no one is at the restroom hallway. I walked towards the hallway and called her name "y/n" she turn around "hey Y/n" I smiled.
She looked surprised "steve, what are you doin-" before she could complete, I pinned her towards the wall and kissed her passionately. She put her arms around my neck. I pulled away and looked into her eyes. Goddamn she has a beautiful eyes. Then I attached my forehead on top of hers.
She blushed. "I know that I'm so dumb " , "hey language captain" she joked earning a chuckle from me. "I love you y/n, i love you so much. I have been loving since the first day I saw you. I-i was just afraid of moving on from peggy's loss but then I figured out that I love you than I loved anyone else. I'm so sorry for hurting you doll, I didn't really mean it when I said I didn't have feelings for you but actually I do. I was just afraid doll. Then when I saw you with Johnny, it just broke my heart. I just can't imagine myself without you doll, I just love you so much and I-i" she interrupted me "I love you too Steve".
We both kissed again but none of us didn't bother to pull away.
That's it! She is mine. My babydoll is officially mine. Nothing makes me more happier than this moment in my life.
Johnny's POV
"Oh lord thank you! Finally this 100 year old virgin made his move on my sister and finally she's in a happy relationship". Tony smiled at the view of Steve and Y/n kissing. Yeah, we are standing a little far from the hallway.
I look at them then turned towards Tony and smiled "yeah, they really do make a great pair."
"Alright thank you so much for the help Storm, the plan did worked. You made him jealous and make his move on my sister. I'm just happy that finally Y/n will be cheerful like she used to. She was being miserable since the day he rejected but hey look at them now. Lovely lovebirds. " Tony admired over them.
"Alright Stark, gotta go now! Have some works" I lied. "Send my best wishes to this lovebirds" I smiled.
"Sure Storm! Flame on" Tony said and I chuckled.
"Alright see ya" I walked out from the restaurant.
I turned back and took a glance over Steve and Y/n, my Y/n. Well I did came here because of stark's plan but over the few days, spending time around y/n made me fall in love with her again. For the first time I felt a sparkle in my life but sadly she isn't mine.
Eventhou it's heartbreaking, I'm still happy for y/n. She deserves happiness in her life.
"I will always love you Y/n" i smiled and walked away.
