Comparison Hurts

"Look at those models Y/n, they're so slim and beautiful but look at you?" Chris body shame Y/n by comparing her with VS models. Both of them went to the VS fashion show just now, Chris couldn't help but feel the models look attractive than his wife. Both got into a huge fight because of it.

Y/n felt so hurtful by each of his words, she never thought Chris would compare her with other women. Y/n been gaining weight since she gave birth to their daughter Ava, it's basically a normal thing for a mom to gain weight after giving birth to their babies. Chris used to tell Y/n that she's the most beautiful woman he have ever seen but all that seems like a lie.

Y/n was sobbing silently while Chris, her own husband was body shaming her. For the first time, someone made her felt disgust of herself. "I have no idea you gained weight because of the baby or food but you will never look slim enough to be beautiful Y/n" Chris said before slamming the house door, not feeling any kind of guilt for hurting his wife.

Few days later

"C'mon Y/n, you can do it!" Alex, her personal trainer giving motivation to Y/n who's been doing fitness workouts this past few days. She has lost 10kg so far by working out all day for the past few days, those dress that never fit  since the baby's birth is finally fitting perfectly on her. Y/n smiled the moment she saw the difference on her body, back to her old body, she felt so proud of herself. Ever since Y/n joined the new fitness centre, those hot guys in that centre been flirting with her and some even confessed their love to her but Y/n kindly rejected all of them by telling the fact that she's married. Many hearts were broken when they get to know Y/n is married even Alex, her trainer who's been flirting with her was surprised by the news.

"Dang Y/n, you look so gorgeous today" Alex praise Y/n, he is the one will drop off her after this training session. Y/n just roll her eyes and laughed "thanks Alex" she said goodbye and walk into her house.

Once she got inside, her mother came with baby Ava in her arms. Ava smiled happily once she saw her mommy coming. Y/n mother gave a kiss to Y/n and said her goodbye then went back home, she's the one taking care of Ava whenever Y/n goes for the training session.

While Y/n and Ava was watching "Little Mermaid", Chris came inside the house and making his way to the living room. Chris gave Y/n a smile and  Y/n just nod her head then went to the kitchen, Y/n weren't talking to Chris that much anymore and she's been keeping distance to him since that incident.

On the other side, Chris felt so guilty for body shaming his wife. He didn't know what happened to him on that particular day, he felt ashamed of himself as a man and husband. He loves Y/n so much and it hurts him so badly when she keeps distance with him plus he saw the trainer flirted with her just now, his blood boiled up.

Baby Ava was finally asleep so Chris moved her to the baby crib and went to kitchen, saw Y/n washing dishes. Chris took a glance at Y/n, she has became more slimmer than before. He felt so guilty about that because he knows she gained weight because of giving birth to their daughter but still he insulted her and he never thought that could hurt her so badly, regrets and guilt filled his heart.

He went towards Y/n and hugged her from behind "I'm sorry doll"  he whisper while sobbing. "I never meant to body shame you, I-I was too stupid to realise that you're always beautiful in your own way. I'm so sorry Y/n! Please stay away from me doll, I can't live without you! I need you every second in my life baby, please forgive me" Chris kneel down and pleaded Y/n to forgive him, he couldn't stand Y/n being away from him anymore. He loves her so much and it took this few days to make him realise his mistake.

Y/n knelt down in front and hugged him tightly, she smiled at her husband with happy tears. The distance not only did killed him but also her, she loves him a lot and it hurts to see him cry. Y/n knew Chris didn't mean all those words he told but still it did hurt her and now he realise everything and apologized, that's was enough for Y/n.

She place her palms on both of his cheeks, pulling him into a kiss. Both of them were kissing with full of love for the first time, they pulled away after a long kiss. Forehead latched, both smiled "I promise I will make it up to you doll, I love you so much Y/n Evans! And I'm sorry" Chris said, kissing Y/n's forehead. "I love you too Evans" she smiled, both leaned for a kiss again.
