Real Hero (Part 2)

Steve and Tony returned back to the compound, you immediately went to both of them. Tony was crying in happiness, cause he saw your dad and but Steve? He was just being silent. "Steve, what's wrong?" You asked him, cupping his cheeks. Steve took your hand away, you frown but he finally spoke " I saw Peggy". That's all you need to hear.

You immediately backed away from him, now you understood why he moved away your hands when you touched him. Days went by, Steve didn't even look your way nor talk to you because he knows that will end up him stay here with you. As much as he loves you, he decided it was best to stay where he belongs to, he belongs in 40's, the era where he originally from.

A lot of efforts and experiments were done to make the infinity stones work. That one time you messed up something in an experiment, it was the day Steve spoke to you for first time but did he spoke? He yelled at you for being irresponsible. At one point he said something that you didn't expect him to say, "Thank God I decided to choose Peggy over you Y/n, she is just so much better than. She is worthier than you." You smiled, tears welled up in your eyes "you're right, I'm not worthier than her" you walked away from him and ran into your room, you cried everytime whenever you're alone.

Since then, you never talked to Steve. Not even once you spoke to him, you think it's the best to be away from him. Steve on the other side, felt heartbroken and guilty for yelling. Steve wish he could turn back time and apologize to you plus finally realizing that he loves the image of a life with Peggy not her, what Steve had for peggy was just an affection but for you? It's a love.

Whenever he closes his eyes, the only person he sees is You. There was a dream, he was old and sick almost in a dead bed, all he sees is only you as his wife and soulmate. He sees a big family with you and his heart told him that you're the one, he decided to stay with you.

Steve wanted to make it up with you straight away but he wants to wait till all this Thanos issues completely done  he planned to propose you when everything is fine.

The day has come, the one last fight between you and Thanos. All the efforts didn't went waste, the people and your teammates who's gone in Thanos snap has returned. The Avengers assembled and destroyed the titans, only one left to be destroyed is Thanos.

Tony wore that infinity gauntlet and just before he could snap, Thanos took away it from him. Thanos remarks, " I am inevitable". Thanos snapped his fingers but nothing happened and then he and everyone saw your way, all the infinity stones were in your gauntlet.

With teary eyes and blood running down, "and I'm... I'm (Your superhero character name)". Just in a second you snapped your finger, Thanos turned into dust along with his titans.
