*Author's Note: Sorry this is so long! I couldn't find a good place to stop! I'm sorry this is so long. Enjoy though! :)*

I wake up laying down. I also have a strange feeling. It feels like someone stroking my cheek and hair. I crack my eyes open and see long fingers stroking my cheeks and fiddling with my hair. I make my eyes slits and see Jace staring down at me. I don't feel my Kindle on my chest. I start to panic but I keep my breathing deep and even, keeping my eyes slit and I spot it on the bedside table.

I close my eyes and keep letting Jace believe I'm sleeping. Soon, the afternoon sunlight forces my eyes open. "Hey." I say. Jace doesn't notice at first. Then he draws his hand away, a blush rising to my cheeks. "Sleep well?" He mutters. I sit up and nod. "I noticed you showered and were hungry. I assume you ready my note?" Jace adds. "After I couple minutes of panic, yes." I respond.

"I didn't want to wake you. You'd has some stressful and confusing last couple of days, so I brought some stuff up and let you sleep."

"Well, I'm wide awake now." Jace stares at my hair. "Two things. One, you look cute when you sleep, since you talk and giggle in your sleep. Two, you might want to brush your hair." I feel my hair falling in my face and my ponytail on my wrist. "You took out my braid?" I challenge. He merely nods. I meander into the bathroom mirror and find he is right, my hair is a mess. "How long are you going to keep me hidden, Jace?" I ask while yanking my brush through my hair. "You'll stay here for one more night then I'll move you over next door. As for letting Izzy and Hodge know, I don't know."

I stop yanking on my hair and stare at Jace in disbelief. As far as I knew, he is never unsure. I turn my attention back to battling my hair. "Is your hair usually this hard to brush?" He teases. I shoot him a glare as I finish detangling my hair. "I bet it was because YOU were messing with it! You took out my braid." I tease back.

"In my defense, you looked peaceful and... I got nothing." Jace said ruefully. I gave him a triumphant look. "What about my lessons?"

"The way we came in? That's how we'll get out. We'll keep it at the park." He smiles, not the ghost smile I usually got, but a real smile this time. "What?" I ask, unsure what he's smiling about. "Nothing. You just look pretty. Shadowhunter gear suits you. It contrasts your pretty, long hair." A flush rises up. "Jace?" A voice calls from the other side of the door. "What do you want, Alec?" I give a small gasp, kick my suitcase under the bed and creep into the closet. The door slams open. "Alec? What are you doing on my room? Get out." He growls.

"Who were you talking to?" Alec challengs, ignoring Jace's questions. "Myself."

"Why did I hear another voice then?"

"You're crazy."

"No, I know I heard a voice, a female. I know it wasn't Izzy. Do you still keep in touch with that mundane?" Alec sneers, an angry smile curling his lip up. "No. Why would I hang with a mundane?" I know Jace is no longer talking about me as a mundane, but protecting me by calling me a mundane. "I don't know. Maybe because you like her. You said she was different."

"NO! Why would any Shadowhunter in their right mind like a mundane?!" Jace shouts back. "Then you won't mind if I check your room?"

"Alec, there's nothing in here, you've been here a million times." Jace shot back. "Not in the last couple days, I haven't." He says softly. I hear Alec shuffling around, slowly making his way to the closet. I frantically begin to search for a place to hide, but there wasn't one. Jace heard me, that means Alec can too. Light pours into the closet. Alec's silhouette backing the light. I meld into the darkness. Alec walks in, moving left, I stay behind him. Then he moves to the right and I stay behind and to the left.
