Francoeur set his hand on the door handle, opening it gently. He gestured for Raoul to enter, and he did, but tripped on something.

"What the.." Francoeur crouched down and examined the small string placed in front of the door. He plucked the string, as Raoul stood, and dusted himself off.

"I think, Abigor has rigged the cabaret."

"Better him then Chaos." Raoul chuckled.

"Must you mention him?" Francoeur stood, and stepped over the string.

"Not like he's going to hear us, Abigor killed him a few years ago."

"I know, but even if he wasn't the nicest, he was still my brother.."

"He tried to kill you, and put Lucille in danger while doing so. He wasn't right in the head."

"Chaos had his reasons, we'll leave it at that." Francoeur opened the door that gave enterance to the main room, careful to look out for any tripwires.

They looked around at the seemingly normal cabaret, and the stage.

Raoul walked down to the seating area, looking around, then pulling out a chair.

"Maybe he only put that tripwire to scare us, Francoeur. I doubt he rigged the cabaret while w-" He yelled as he jolted up from the seat.

"You were saying?" Francoeur said as he began walking towards the stage.

" There's.. pins in the cushions." Raoul said as he rubbed his backside.

Francoeur stepped onto the stage, looking around for any signs of traps.

"Now that I think about it, where's Lora? If he rigged the place, she'd probably hidden somewhere in the cabaret." Raoul said as he looked up at the stage.

"Probably.." Francoeur stepped onto the stage, he took another step until he heard a creak, and a floorboard fell from underneath him. "Shoot.." He wriggled his foot from the floorboard. "He's definitely rigged the cabaret. We should be careful as we look for Loralei"

"Right, where do we start?" Raoul asked as he looked around the cabaret once more.

"We can start here in the stage area, check the rest of the downstairs, then move upstairs."

"Yeah, but, what if she's not here? If my girlfriend got taken by that-"

"She's not your girlfriend."

"Uh, yeah she is."

"She doesn't want to be." Francoeur stepped into the dining room, stepping over the string in front of the door.

"Yeah, she does, she's my one and only."

"We both know she's neither your 'one' or your 'only', Raoul."

"But, she doesn't."

"I wouldn't bet your life on that."

"Did you tell her?!"

"I did not. You, however, were speaking loud enough that our conversation caught her attention, and she overheard us." Francoeur stated matter-of-factly

"She's known for that long!" Raoul ran his hand through his hair. "W-Why didn't she say anything, then?"

Francoeur shrugged, chuckling under his breath.

They continued looking around the cabaret, Francoeur began to lose hope as they continued searching for LoraLei.

"Think  I should go back in?" Lora turned to Abigor, smirking as he looked through the window.

"I have an even better idea." He laughed mischievously, opening up a window, jumping down into Lora's room. He caught Lora as she jumped in after him.

Francoeur turned on his heel as a deafening scream came from Lora's room. He rushed up the stairs, leaving Raoul behind, and busting down her door. His eyes widened as he saw Lora, being held by Abigor as he held a gun to her head.

"What a surprise, Baby Brother."

"Let her go, Abigor, you already have Lucille."

"True. But, you care about this one much more."

"Ill say it once more. Let her go, Abigor."

"My baby brother's got a little crush, how.. adorable." He laughed.

"P-Please, just let me go.." Lora pleaded, as she struggled to get loose from Abigor's strong grip.

" I'll let her go, if you give me what I want." Abigor chuckled.

"Not happening."

"Then, I guess.." He cocked the gun.

"A-Abigor?" Lora looked up at him.

"I can't give you what you want." He placed one of his fingers on the trigger.

Tears began to fall from Lora's eyes, as she looked at Francoeur. "P-Please, Abigor! Don't Shoo-"

BANG

The room was filled with dark smoke as the gun sounded. Raoul covered his face, the smoke stinging his eyes, Francoeur began fanning away the smoke with his Cheapaux, walking towards the windows on the other side of the room, feeling around and soon finding the windows. As soon as Francoeur opened one of the windows, smoke began to flood out of the room. Francouer realized that one of the windows had been opened already. He looked towards the floor, the thick smoke clearing enough for him to make out a small figure lying on the floor.

"Lora!"Francouer dropped to his knees, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"That's not Lora... i-is that?..." Raoul's eyes widened.

"L-Lucille..."
