The personification of Russia (Ivan Bragnski) and the personification of Central Flixia (Rivira Emoora) made a cute couple. They seemed to always get along and never causing any mal-happening to each other.
Now however, Ivan was sitting alone in his home office, glaring angrily at nothing and trying to drown himself in Vodka. He and Rivira had gotten into a small argument that turned into a screaming fest and ended with her running out of the house trying to hold back tears.
The Russian hadn't hit her or even had the thought to. It had been something he'd said that sent her fleeing and he was even angrier because now he couldn't even remember it. Heck! He didn't even remember what started the stupid fight to begin with.
Suddenly there was a quiet knock and Lithuania peeked his head in with a somber look.
"M-mr. Russia. A-am-" Ivan cut him off with a harsh 'I don't care. Go away.'.
Toris quickly retreated and Ivan sighed. However instead of the quiet that had been enveloping him for over an hour there was shouting from elsewhere in the house and loud, angry footsteps approaching.
The door was, quite literally slammed off its hinges a royally pissed Locland stood where the thick wooden door had just been.
"Sarafina now is not-"
"ShUt ThE fUcK uP!" She screeched, cutting him off and thoroughly scaring him.
Ivan did as he was told and went silent, watching the angry Nordic as she began tensely pacing.
"Why didn't you go after her? Why are you in here moping about? Why didn't you start to worry after she was gone for an hour with no calls from anyone?" Locland was growling as she began circling in on Russia, her Dire-shifter wolf side showing through in her anger.
"I did not think that she would be wanting to see me. And what is this all about. If you are here chewing me out then she must be fine, da?" Ivan scrunched up his face in anger and turned away.
Sarafina's hands slammed down hard on the desk, almost cracking the wood.
"Wrong." Was all she said, a murderous glint dancing in her eyes.
"What are you meaning by that?" He inquired, feeling a small bit of panic bubbling up.
The Loclandish woman sighed and stood straight, letting her hands fall to her sides as she slowly walked towards the door. She stopped in the doorway and turned her glare to him one last time.
Ivan startled a bit. Her terrifying glare was dampened by the mass amount of tears in her eyes and running down her face.
"She dead Ivan."
Three words. Three. Simple. Words. But as soon as Ivan heard them his heart shattered.
"Rivira never made it that far. She was hit by a drunk driver only a mile or so down the street. She died before anyone found her. It wasn't a quick or painless death either Russia." The ice greyish-green orbs of his friend told him that it was all true and... "It's all your fault."
With no more words or another look Locland was gone, leaving the broken man to try and piece himself back together.
Ivan immediately broke down, sobbing as an immense pain rippled through his chest. Unable to sit up any longer he collapsed on the floor, clutching his chest and crying, trying in vain to apologize and take back what he'd said and done.

Ivan's teary violet eyes shot open. He was laying on his side on the couch in his living room. It took a few seconds to collect what had really happened.
The fight had happened. Rivira running out, had happened. But Sarafina coming over to tell Ivan that Rivira was dead? Nope.
After the fight and Rivira running out, Ivan had collapsed onto the couch, immediately regretting everything. He'd passed out from so much crying in less than 20 minutes.
Then another thought occurred to him. Rivira could be in trouble. She could still be out there.
However, as he went to get up he felt a weight that was not his on his stomach.
Turning her realized that it was Rivira's head. The Flixian was kneeling/sitting on the floor with her head resting on his stomach. She had dried tear tracks running down her face and her brow was scrunched as if her dreams were not so peaceful either. But she didn't look injured and she was certainly alive if her soft, steady breaths were anything to go by.
Ivan sighed in relief, gently moving to sit up and scoop her up into his arms, wrapping her in a protective hold.
The ravenette began waking up at the gentle movement. Her icy blue orbs snapped open and met his. They were blank until she blinked a couple times, them a small, tired smile slowly spread into them.
"Sunflower..." He murmured.
He paused when he noticed her cocked eyebrow and tilted her head though. She held up a finger in a hold on motion and carefully leaned over in his arms to grab something off the coffee table.
She expertly put her hearing aids in their spots and hummed to tell him that she could hear.
"I'm sorry, Sunflower." Ivan whispered, kissing her forehead.
"I'm sorry too Ivan. The whole fight was stupid. I can't even remember anything about it." She snorted, nestling closer to him.
"Da." He hummed in agreement.
"Well... It's been a long day. Why don't we go to bed?" Rivira suggested, meeting his eyes again.
In response Ivan just stood up with her in his arms and made his way back to their shared bedroom. Once both of them were snug under the covers they moved to cuddle with each other. Being closer to each other had a calming effect over both of them and brought peace to their minds.
"Alista neta, ni istavu. [1]" Rivira murmured before drifting off.
"Ya tozhe tebya lyublyu, podsolnukh. [2]" Ivan respond before joining her in sleep.

In my head cannon Rivira is almost entirely deaf and wears hearing aids to... well... hear. She was deafened by the small explosion that tore off Savina/Amelia's arm and leg.
