Meggie hummed in content as she felt Lovino gently trace over the scars on her shoulders, his touch barely there. It was early in the morning and though both were awake, neither had the drive to get up yet.
"Hey-a bella, you-a don't have to-a answer me but-a... Where did you-a get these scars-a from?" His voice quieted as it neared the end.
An audible sigh left her lips as she turned her head towards him and opened her eyes. She observed him quietly for a few more moments as he watched her for a reaction.
"Mainly from past battles. The one that's indented more than raised was from when I fell on a sharp shard of metal." She mumbled, reaching her arm back to find said scar. "That one narrowly missed my spine. I think you were there for that one."
A soft chuckle left her lips.
Lovi's brows knitted together as he seemed to think over something.
"How-a many fights have-a you been in?" He asked, laying back down on his stomach next to her.
Another small laugh left her mouth.
"More than I can count by now. Antonio or Daichi may remember but they've all mashed together in my memory." Meggie sighed and carefully rolled onto her back. "It's all in the past anyway."
Romano watched her with a slightly impressed and loving look. The brunette female smiled as she closed her eyes and crossed her arms behind her head.
The Italian beside her smiled as well and lifted a hand to gentle trace lines into her warm and surprisingly soft skin. The Spanish/Savinan female hummed in appreciation and leaned into his touch.
Finally deciding that simple petting wasn't enough affection, Lovino turned and wrapped his arms around her. He pulled her into his chest and nuzzled into her hair. Meggie sighed happily and returned the embrace, nuzzling into his chest.
"Mngh. Ti amo, ya know?" She murmured, pressing a few kisses to his collarbone.
"Yeah, I-a know." He chuckled and pressed a kiss to the top of her head. " Te amo troppo, mia bella."
