*Note: Amelia was brought up with the Asian countries (her island isn't that far from Japan) and her and Iggy's relationship was strictly platonic until she grew up. She's older than America and Canada (by a considerable amount) and this is set before they become a couple/before WWII. She's stupidly attached to all of her friends and more than willing to fight alongside them (even if she's not supposed to be involved) and is very feisty and likes to fight.*
Amelia Adams, also known as Savina, was up in her attic. There were tons of boxes filled with old things that probably needed to be gone through. She was up there to store a military uniform that was well past worn out and a rifle with a slightly twisted barrel.
As she carefully put them into their designated box she caught sight of another box. The label had been rubbed off so she couldn't tell what was in it but it looked old.
The golden blonde finished boxing the things she brought up and grabbed the old looking box. She carefully brought it down to her living room before opening it.
Inside were things from her past. She reached in and pulled up the first item.
It was a black metal fan with a sharp edge and gold designs on it.
Amelia ran her finger tips over the cool surface, turning it between her hands.
*Flashback*
A younger Amelia (somewhere between a teenager and an adult) was standing in England's living room. She had on a beautiful, Victorian dress on that was the colors of the dawn sky.
"I don't know Iggy." She said to her friend as he finished buttoning his coat. "Even if we do find this guy how we get rid of him? You're carrying your sword but I can't quite do that. I'm not sure how much damage I can really do with just myself in this dress."
She frowned down at the floofy dress. She absolutely detested the style of Arthur's people right now but, for the sake of helping him catch a dangerous spy, she would manage.
"Ah, yes! I do have a solution for that." Arthur smiled and went into his office for a few seconds before reappearing, this time holding something.
"Here." He handed a black metal fan to Amelia. "Be careful because it's sharp. I'm confident that you can use it and use it well."
He smiled at her and she gladly smiled back.
*End Flashback*
With a quick, skillful motion Amelia jerked her hand and opened the fan all the way. It gleamed at her, as solid in her hand as any weapon. A smile crossed her lips again. She absently rubbed away some thousand year old dried blood that was still there, before setting the fan aside and grabbing the next item.
The heavy, red fabric felt reassuring against her fingers as she pulled up an old military jacket. Her first military jacket.
She turned the fabric around in her hands, fingering the holes and blood stains left from the fights it been in. Finally she settled on the bullet hole in the left shoulder of the jacket.
*Flashback*
Amelia was standing beside Arthur in the middle of a battlefield. Both had their guns up and were firing at the enemy soldiers that dared to come near them.
Amelia was a teenager, wearing a red army issue jacket that Arthur had given her. Even though she was in independent country she still insisted on fighting alongside him like she was one of his colonies. It's just the kind of friend that she was.
