Chapter 4: New Moon Pack

I woke up to a pounding in my head. I looked around and realized I was in a truck, and from what I could tell we are moving on some kind of dirt road. My hands and feet were tied with a silver coated rope, and there was a cloth around my mouth. Emma was laying beside me, in the same situation as me, only she hasn't woke up yet. I felt really weak, and my wolf seemed to be waking up, but still weak, like me.

"What do you think the Alpha is going to do to them?" The guy sitting in the passengers seat said. 

The man in the passenger seat was a dirty blonde, and had a lot of muscle, which was common for a werewolf. He had a defined jaw line, and green eyes.

The man in the drivers seat was a brunette, and had a little power radiating off him. Probably a third in command or beta. He had blue eyes and was also muscular. He seemed to be about 18.

So they are taking me to an alpha. I wonder what pack this is, because I couldn't scent any werewolves in the town, yet here we are. I'm being held captive by a group of werewolves, that I  had no clue were anywhere near me, and i'm being taken to their alpha so he can probably torture me and kill me. Or at least try. Hopefully they don't recognize me and bring me to Alpha Leo. I would rather die.

"Probably torture them until they give him the information he wants." The man in the drivers seat said.

Emma started moving around now.  I tried to mind link her but it seemed the silver was lasting longer on her than me. I gave her a look saying calm down and then motioned to her play dead, so that's what we did. We both laid there pretending we were asleep. I had a plan to get both of us out of here, and find out some information from the alpha.

The truck finally came to a stop, and both the men got out. One of them opened my door and put me over his shoulder. I kept  playing that I was still knocked out, hoping Emma would trust me and do the same. The brought us down some stairs and sat us down. I then heard them go upstairs for something. Our mind links were now starting to come back and I could feel my wolf becoming stronger, and recovering from the silver. 

Two different men came down this time, and tried feeding us. When one of them came near, and the other was trying to feed Emma, I put the ropes that were around my wrist around his head and started choking him. He fell to the ground but he was still breathing. Emma had taken down the other man to. The two original men ran down. I tried to attack but they were fast and they injected me with silver. It was enough to make a normal wolf fall unconscious but it only made me feel very weak, to the point that a couldn't stand up by myself. I feel down and the men dragged me into a cell. And Emma had been sneaky and was back in her cell when they came down while they were dealing with me. She laid down, making it look like she was still knocked out.

I ended up grabbing a key while I was attacking the men, so I have that hidden in my pocket. Now I just have to wait for the silver to wear off so I can shift into my wolf and get us out of here. 

It didn't take long before I could feel the silver fading, and my wolf slowly waking up and feeling stronger. I unlocked the door so that when the time was right, I could open it and attack. I unlocked Emma's door too. I was going to untie her, but I heard foot steps coming close. 

"Emma, when they come back down I am going to shift into my wolf, and free you. Then we are going to knock out the men that took us and wait for the alpha. Be ready." I said weakly to Emma through our mind link. She then nodded, showing that she understood what to do.

I then heard footprints coming down the stairs and shifted. This was the most painful shift I have ever experienced because of the silver still briefly running in my system.

The men were on the last step when I jumped out and attacked them. They both tried fighting me and taking me down, but I had them both down with in seconds. They were both knocked out. I then walked over to Emma and bit the ropes on her hands and ripped them, ignoring the excruciating burning from the silver coating. She then got the rest of the ropes off. 

There was a couple chairs in the room, so we tied both of them to a chair, back to back. We were going to wait for the alpha to come down and find us. It was then I heard him. I could feel the power of him slowly getting closer. He opened the door and started walking down. He was on the last step when I saw him.

 He was beautiful in a manly way. He had dirty blonde hair, and lightly tanned skin. He was very muscular in all the right places. He had the most beautiful blue eyes.  He had a serious look.  He was perfect. That was when I snapped back to reality, and realized this was an Alpha I was dealing with. And not a good one at that. My wolf was scratching at the surface. It was probably to kill the men that had captured us. I then remember why we where here and what we where doing. Emma was staring at me, trying to see what was going on.

"Hello "Alpha'. I said with a little sarcasm. "I have your little friends here, and unless you let me go, I will kill them." I said with my most intimidating voice.

He looked at me with a little shock. And then there was nothing. He looked calm and not threatened.  

" I just want to talk to you. Nothing more. And if you try to lay a hand on either of them, you won't see daylight for a very long time kitten." He said.

I stood there with my mouth open. I had just threatened to kill two of his men, and yet he is calm. His threat scared me.

"Yeah right. All of you evil wolfs only want one thing, and that's to taste blood." I snarled at that last remark, thinking of my parents. I could feel my eyes turning to my purple ones, so I closed  them so I wouldn't give off who I was. 

"My name is Jax Night, and I am the alpha of the only good pack left in the world, the New Moon Pack."

Sorry for the long wait for the chapter. I had some writers block, and I have rewritten this chapter many times to get it the way I want it.
