Recap:

That was when my wolf smelled the most delicious scent ever and started screaming something I never expected to hear.

Mate

My first thought was that I needed to find her.

Then Katrina emerged from the woods in her wolf form. She was the most beautiful wolf I had ever seen. She was white and had purple eyes, and was the size of a normal male wolf, which is unheard of. All I wanted to do was go and mark her as mine. Her scent was intoxicating. My wolf was worried now more than ever about the fight that was about to happen.

So I was right. We are mates. But that also means that Katrina doesn't know, and she won't know until she see's me in my wolf form.

Katrina approaches the field, many people whispering about her unique wolf. Alex approaches the field in his brown wolf, looking like nothing compared to my gorgeous mate in front of him. She was about the same size as him, but Alex was a little bigger considering he was a warrior in training. I was still stunned by everything. As hard as it was, I couldn't really just cancel the fight and have to explain to the whole pack that Katrina was my mate, which hadn't existed in years. And seeing as she didn't know that we were mates yet, she would be even more confused. I then walked onto the field, not taking my eyes off of Katrina. I knew the fight had to go on, but I didn't want it too. I paused, not wanting to start the fight. I then slowly started counting down. Dreading having to start the fight.

I then blew the whistle.

Alex and Katrina started circling. Katrina's wolf was dominate, she probably had Alpha genes in her. Her wolf snapped her teeth at Alex's wolf, trying to show her dominance. She puffed her chest, and stood tall while circling. Alex then made the first move, not wanting to mess around anymore, being a warrior he didn't like to wait for the fight. Katrina moved out of the way, with a stealthy move, and then took Alex down. They then fighting, going for each others necks. Alex was now on top, trying to pin Katrina. I held my breath, not wanting anything to happen to her. Alex was then kicked off, and fell to the ground. Katrina was back on her feet, her wolf was panting, while looking very calm, but there was a fire in her eyes, ready to burn anything in its path. Katrina then tried attacking him, both of them on all fours. Katrina's wolf was strong, and very skilled. She looked like she had been trained for years. She was as skilled as most the my warriors in my pack, and she was younger than all of them. Katrina then pinned him down, and nibbled on his throat, showing that she was again the winner. She then let Alex get up and he bowed showing he had lost the fight. I then walked back into the middle by Katrina.

I then raised my arm and said, "Katrina Reed is the winner!" I said and smiled wide at her. The crowd went wild seeing her win. Many people were talking in the mind link about her eyes, and about her being a white wolf. And people who weren't talking in the mind link about it, were talking about it out loud. Many were amazed by her, wondering where she came from. Katrina then walked back into the woods, and changed back into her human form. I walked back over to Shawn and he was standing there, with his mouth hanging wide open.

"Dude, close your mouth. You gonna catch bugs." I said, laughing at him. He woke up from his trance and looked at me.

"Did you see her wolf? It was amazing! And her fighting skills were so good! She has to be a trainer!" He said. My wolf was at the surface still from the fight, and another male calling my mate amazing and complementing her was not helping him. I had to fight him for a few seconds, not wanting to cause a scene, and then returned back to normal.
