Times Have Changed

Chapter 9: Shopping

I walked up to my room with my sister following beside me.

I wanted to go and sleep for the rest of my life, in my nice and comfy bed, with the long day we had. Nothing was said between Emma and I on our way up. We both had a very eventful and draining day. We stopped in front of my door and looked at each other.

"Good night Emma." I said, and reached over and gave her a hug.

"Good night." She said and crutched down to her room. Once I saw that she had gotten to her room, I walked in my big room. I went into my closet and picked out some pajamas to wear. I grabbed a PJ set from the hanger. The top had a polar bear on it and the bottoms were just a blue pair of shorts. I also grabbed a pair of underwear and a sports bra. I walked out and set the clothes on my bed and walked into the bathroom. I turned on the shower to warm it up. I then undressed and put my clothes in the pamper.

I would never get used to this. It was all such a luxury. Even at my old pack there was nothing like this. This was like a dream. Being on the run and having little to nothing really makes you appreciative of everything you are given.

I walked into my shower and started shampooing and conditioning my hair. I then grabbed the body soap and washed my body. After I was done I walked out and put all my clothes on. I went back into my bathroom and brushed my teeth. I then brushed my long blonde hair.

I walked out of the bathroom and got under the covers of my huge bed. I laid there thinking about the long day we had. What was gonna happen to Emma since she hadn't completely finished her fight? We will do the blood initation tomorrow? I wondered if Alpha Leo was still searching for me? Should I tell Jax about me being on the run from him? Will they not want me in the pack if they find out?

I then drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sun shining in my face. I felt refreshed feeling. My wolf wanted to go out for a run. I got up out of bed and took off my pajamas. I put on some running leggings and a sweatshirt over my sports bra, and grabbed a pair of shoes.

I walked down to Emma's room to see if she was up yet. When I peaked in, I saw that she was still sound asleep. I silently closed her door and walked down the hall. When I got downstairs I went into the kitchen and saw some pack members already up. I grabbed an apple, with all the pack members watching me, and walked out of the kitchen. I started walking to the back door, and walked past Jax's office, and to my surprise he was sitting in chair on his laptop. I knocked lightly on the door, even though it was open to get his attention.

"Hey! Come in!" He said.

"Hi, I was just wondering if I can go on a run? My wolf is getting really anxious." I said,

"Yes. Just make sure you stay inside the boarders. I will alert the border watch that you are going for a run." He said.

"You can come with if you want?" I said, hoping he would say yes.

"I can't. I'm sorry. I really want to, but I have a lot of work I need to get done." He said.

"Alright. Well I'll see you later." I said, and walked out

I walked out the back door and walked out to the woods. When I got their I made sure I couldn't sense anyone watching me, and striped off my clothes quickly.

I then started turning into my wolf. I felt the familiar feel of my bones rearranging themselves into place, and hair growing all over my body. After a few seconds of excruciating pain, I was on 4 paws.
