Beep Beep Beep

I woke up to the annoying sound of my phone. I grabbed my pillow and put it over my head, covering my ears. I grabbed the phone with the pillow still on my head and pushed all the buttons on it, attempting to shut it up. Finally when I pushed the top button, it turned off. I laid there for a couple minutes, falling back asleep, when it started going off again.

"Shut up!" I groaned.

I finally sat up and grabbed the annoying phone. I slide the screen to turn off the alarm.

I got up, and went into my closet to pick out some clothes. I grabbed a black pair of athletic shorts and a white long sleeved shirt. I looked in the mirror and saw my crazy bed head. My hair was all over the place. I walked out with my outfit and set it onto my bed. I went into my bathroom and heated up my flat iron. I brushed out my crazy hair, making sure to get out all the knots in it. I grabbed the flat iron and ran the rod down my hair, making sure to get all the little kinks out of it. My hair is naturally straight, but when I go to bed with wet hair, I get really bad bed head, and my hairs gets wavy. I brushed my teeth after I was done, and walked back into the room. I changed into my outfit and threw my hair up into a ponytail. I put a pair of tennis shoes on and walked out the door. I walked down the hall to the staircase and walked down. There were tons of people here. It looked like almost everyone from the pack was here! I walked down and saw Carly, Natalie, Abby, and Brooke. I walked over to them and joined the conversation. Brooke glared at me as I talked, but I didn't pay any attention to her.

"Alright everyone! Lets all head outside!" Jax said, surprising me. I hadn't even noticed him here.

Everyone start going out the back door, heading the backyard. Once I got outside, I noticed everyone stretching. I sat down and started stretching my legs and muscles out. Everyone else sat down and started stretching except Brooke, who stood there inspecting her nails.

"Everyone up! For a warm up we will be running around the house 15 times to get our muscles warmed up." Jax yelled loudly.

Everyone start standing up, and started running. I was close to the front of the pack of runners. Since the house was huge, it was a lot of running. By the 7th lap Jax was the only one ahead of me, and I was close behind him. I started catching up to him, giving him a competitive look, and we both started going all out. We were laughing, while trying to beat each other. We were at least 2 laps ahead of everybody, on our final lap. We both started speeding up, trying to outrun each other on the final lap. I was out of breathe, and my legs were on fire, but I kept going. I was used to this feeling. We got to the finish line, and Jax had beat me by a couple feet.

"Finally someone who can keep up" Jax said, out of breath.

I laughed a little, still out of breath from running. We sat down next to each other, waiting for the rest of the group to get down. It wasn't awkward between us, it was really calming to be sitting next to Jax. It was like all my troubles just skipped my mind, and the only thing I could focus on was Jax.

"I'm going to go get us some water, I'll be right back." Jax said, standing up.

A few people were finally finishing, and they looked like they were about to die.

"Hey." Emma came and sat by me, putting her crutches beside her. I gave her a hug when I saw her.

"You look a lot better." I said.

She looked more alive. Her skin had more color in it and she looked more awake then she did yesterday.

"Thanks. Hows training going? I wish I could be training to, but I have this stupid thing on."She said, motioning to her cast.
