Recap:

That was when we heard a wolf's bleeding cry for help in the woods.

The pack was immediately alert.

"Round up troops, and we'll go check it out." Jax told Shawn.

He nodded his head and ran into the house. Instantly about all of the pack warriors were outside, ready to go.

"Alright everyone. We are going to scout and find the wolf we heard. Everyone needs to be silent, and ready for an intruder to attack." Jax barked at the warriors,"Lets get into formation!"

Some of the warriors went towards the woods to change into their wolves. When they came out, they went into the line of people. The line was 5 wide and about 8 long. The wolves were in the first and second rows, behind Jax. Shawn was in his wolf form, standing beside Jax in the front. Emma and I were still standing awkwardly to the side, not knowing what to do. I knew that I was a warrior, but I didn't know what to do.

Jax walked over from the front and said, "Will you lead the group beside me and Shawn?"

Jax must have had a lot of trust in me to have me lead beside him.

"Yes, I will." I replied grinning.

"I want you to change into your wolf form. We need another wolf that can fight well." He said. I nodded and started walking into the woods.

I heard him tell Emma that she was gonna have to stay behind. I knew she wanted to argue, but she knew better than to question an Alpha.

I walked into the woods and took off my dress carefully, not wanting to ruin it. I set it behind a bush, memorizing where I put it so that I could get it later.

I then let my wolf take over my body, and change me. I felt my bones start to crack and move into place. Fur sprouted all over my body, and before I knew it I was my white wolf. I walked out of the cover, and over to everyone else. Everyone quieted down, and all eyes were on me. I wonder how long this will last? As I got closer, everyone started talking again. I walked over to Jax, and when he saw me his eyes lit up. He reached over and ran his hands softly through my fur. It sent tingles down my spine. I then felt my wolf purring at his touch, and immediately stopped when I noticed. Jax laughed at me, and I gave him a look of annoyance, which only made him laugh more.

Everyone was in their positions, and we were ready to go.

"Lets go." Jax said.

Shawn and I were standing with Jax in between us, in front of everyone. We started walking slowly, careful to not make any noise from the leaves and twigs on the forest floor. As we walked I felt Jax causally brush my fur every once in a while, almost just to make sure I was still there. We walked for a long amount of time with no sign of anyone. I then saw Jax stiffen and smell the air. He held his hand in the air, motioning us to stop. I sniffed the air to see what he smelled, and noticed an unknown scent. It wasn't anyone in our pack, that's for sure.

Jax motioned with his hand for us to keep moving. We slowly crept closer to the scent. We finally reached a clearing, and a woman was sitting in the middle. It looked very suspicious, so Jax held up his hand again, telling us to stop. We slowly walked forward, everyone on watch. Suddenly I smelt 10-20 wolves close. I looked at Jax, he seemed to be smelling the same thing I was.

Then there was a howl, and a rush of wolves emerged from the cover. They all ran towards us, attacking. The group split up, trying to hold off the wolves. A brown wolf came running up to me. It was larger than I, so it was a male. It started circling me, and I knew this fight was going to be hard. I knew that the only way I was going to have a chance in winning, I had to attack first. As we are circling me, I lunged at him, snapping my large jaws at him. I was on top of him, trying to get a good bite at his neck. He used his long legs and pushed me off of him. He got up and stalked over to me. This time, he lunged at me and was successful. He put my front leg in his jaw and bite down hard. I knew it wasn't broken, but It was a deep cut. I yelped loudly from the bite. The brown wolf then lunged at me again, getting on top of me. He was snapping at my neck, each time getting closer and closer to killing me. I looked around frantically for anyone to help me, but everyone else was occupied in their own fight. I then felt the large wolf get lifted off me.
