Katrina Reed

-----------------------------------

When I woke up Emma was already dressed in her new shorts and shirt, watching TV.

"Morning Emma." I said and gave her a smile. This was the best I've felt in a long time.

"Morning Katrina." She said smiling back.

Emma took my breathe away. She looked so beautiful. Her blonde wavy hair laying halfway down her back, the sun coming in from the window making her look like she was glowing. Her brown eyes had a new spark in them.

"Emma you look so beautiful and happy." I said going over and hugging her tightly.

"So do you Katrina. I love you." We hugged for a while longer and then we let go.

"Do you want to go down for some breakfast? And then I say we go and spoil ourselves and go shopping." I said to Emma.

This town really was changing me. Normally if we found a safe town, we would go buy clothes, find a gas station and wash up, get some food from the gas station and leave, never looking back. I can't believe I'm letting us stay in this town for more than just clothes and food. I still have my guard up, but I honestly can't feel any threats close by. I felt almost safe here.

We walked down the hall, smelling all the breakfast food. We found the small room with a older man sitting at a table in the room. We walked in, and got plates to eat on. We then got bagels and cream cheese, and put the bagels into the toaster. I grabbed an apple, and Emma got some grapes. I then got some orange juice and sat down my food. I went over to the toaster and got our bagels and walked over to sit with Emma at the table. We ate in silence until the old man spoke up.

"How are you girls doing this morning?" The man said, looking up from his newspaper. He smelled like a werewolf. And like that, my wolf was ready to tear any ones throat out that seemed like a threat.

"Do you smell that too?"Emma said threw our mind link.

"Yes. Be ready for anything."

"We are fine, thank you." I said, and started eating as fast as I could.

"I've been working here for 45 years, and you are the first people to come into to this town in 10 years. What brings you here?"

"Just stopping by." I said, avoiding any conversation.

It all happened really fast. Something was throw into the room, smoke filled the room, and my lungs, and I started to fall. And that's when all I saw was black.

Jax Night

-------------------

I was doing a boarder run when I was interrupted by a werewolf in my pack.

"Alpha, I'm sorry to disturb you, but there are 2 girls in town, both werewolves. What would you like me to do?" Albert said in the pack mind link.

"Bring them to me. I want them alive. They could be good for interrogation."

We had many of the dark wolves in our dungeons right now. We are trying to figure out what all the of them are planning to do. There have been many of them getting closer and closer to our town, but most don't find any sight of us. The ones who get really close we capture and put into the dungeon to interrogate and find anything out we can. And then we kill them. This may sound harsh, but we can't just let them go to tell everyone where we are hiding, and we can't just keep them in our dungeons, taking up space.

We are the rebels of the dark. We are the only pack left that is good, and didn't turn to the dark. We refused to let them turn us evil. Anyone who is a rebel, like us, can join as long as they prove themselves. Not many make it this far to our land, nor even know about a pack of good left. Most think we are only rumors, and don't attempt to find us. My pack has about 500 members at the moment, which is a lot, considering most evil packs have about 100-200. My pack is also all trained to fight, and defend themselves. Everyone is required to take a self defense training once a week. Others also have the opportunity to take the warrior training too, which I highly recommend to everyone. The elders just have to go to one class a month, just to refresh on everything, but its not really a training. Its just a refresher class.

We were prepared for any attacks, and we were prepared to attack if we needed too. We have had people taken in the past, but we had some of the best fighters, and we also had spy's in other packs, they were the people trying to prove their loyalty.

By now I was done with my run, and was headed back to the pack house. We were about 5 miles from town, located in the middle of the forest. The towns scent was masked years ago by a witch named Crystal. She saw the future and then decided to put a scenting mask on the town and on the pack house. She told my great grandfather, the alpha at the time, what she saw and he immediately moved the pack house to a place that no one would be able to find unless they knew specifically who and where we were.

That's why I'm curious about these girls. If they were a real threat to us and wanted to hurt us, I expect they already would have done it. But something was weird about them. It wasn't specifically a bad feeling, it was almost a good feeling. Maybe they would tell me information about the dark.

I walked in the pack house, many of the pack members bowing at me.

I walked into my room and went to turn on the shower. I turned the nob up and walked out to let it warm up. I then undressed and took a quick shower. Once I got out, I grabbed some long athletic shorts and a shirt.

Have the rouge wolves arrived yet from town?I asked my beta, Shawn.

Yes. They took down two of our members that went down to the dungeon to feed them. We had to inject them with silver. They seem to be trained fighters.Shawn said, Be cautious when you go in to see them.

I then walked downstairs to get some food before I went to the dungeon. I grabbed an apple, and walked outside to the dungeon. I opened the door and walked downstairs.

That's when I saw something I would have never expected to see.
