This one is a bit... crazy. Um, be prepared I guess.

TW: Cursing, mentions of blood and death, insanity (If there is anything else tell me pls)

This was all too familiar. From the chains around his wrists, to the tape across his mouth. He could feel the familiar spike of anxiety crawling up his spine. He could barely keep time of how long he'd been here before he heard someone open a door.

"Hello, Virgil. I brought you a friend," the voice said, making Virgil flinch backwards. "Your dear father." He could hear the smile in the voice. The enjoyment. The hatred. He craned is neck backwards to see a silent Patton. His glasses were scratched and had cracked.

"Mmm!" he exclaimed tried to exclaim behind the tape. Why did they need Patton? Why was he important to their mission. He squirmed, trying to get a better look at him. "Mmm?" He looked for the body that had provided the voice.

A hand covered his face, ripping the tape off his face. "Patton!" Virgil yelled. Patton didn't move. Not a muscle. There wasn't a twitch of a smile, nor his usual reassurance. Just silence. "Patton." Nothing. "Dad..."

A hand held his chin roughly, yanking it to face who held him. "Diesel." Diesel smiled, his rough features adding to his wickedness.

"I knew you'd return. By force or not," Diesel hummed. "And Diesel? Why not call me by the name you know so much better?"

Virgil didn't move. His purple eyes piercing into Diesel's yellow ones. He wouldn't call him by his name. Words added power, so he kept his mouth shut.

"Must I say it for you?" Diesel whispered, eyes flashing with excitement. Virgil didn't move. He could feel tears pool in his eyes. A headache pounding in his head.

"Deceit," Patton whispered. His head rising. His voice didn't sound like happy-pappy Patton that everyone knew. No. It spoke what Patton wouldn't. Of death and murder. Of insanity itself.

"Well, look who has come to play our little game, hmm?" Deceit crossed to where Patton sat behind Virgil. "I almost forgot you where there," he drawled. Patton let out a cold laugh. Hardened by the emotions one thought they could take control of. Hardened by his past.

Deceit raised an eyebrow. "What's so funny? We could cut out your tongue if we wished."

"You might wanna get your friend out of my head before he pisses me off," Patton whispered. Virgil shrank in fear. He remembered when he had talked back to Patton, seeing his eyes flash blue.

"Is that threat?"

"A warning. I've heard worse, and some say it makes me crazy." Patton giggled crazily, struggling to hold his breath. Spikes of ice shot up from the ground, all aiming to maim Deceit. "No, kiddo, it was a warning. Don't mess with the ones who slow to anger." He stared into Deceit's yellow eyes. "And don't mess with their families."

The ice slowly melted, leaving Deceit in a circle of a puddle. His eyes were wide at Patton's sudden power, but it didn't matter. "How could you love someone as crazy as him, Virgil? You know our love is never-ending, immortal," Deceit whispered. "I could have been the father you loved endlessly. The one who fought for you, but you chose this psycho."

"That's a bit hypocritical," Virgil answered.

"We love you. We always have."

Virgil's head snapped up. "Love? You think you know what love is? You think this is love? If it is, God forbid, then everything is love," Virgil yelled. His voice was ragged with desperation. "If you loved me-" his voice shuddered. "Then let me go."

"No." It was short and simple.

A door opened and in walked Remus. "Well, hi, Virgil. And, oh! Who is this? Patton? My dear brother's love? Why, Roman would be heated-"

"Keep his name off your lips." It came out as another growl. "I could kill you and wouldn't blink twice. I wouldn't care. I'd see your blood and smile. I'd live with the repercussions, as long as my family is safe." Another giggle. "Do you know what it means to be mad, Remus?" Patton asked.

Remus faltered. He wasn't used to being challenged in the crazy department. "No, Patton, I suppose I don't," he spat. His smile wasn't there anymore. His eyes held contentment.

"It's seeing the world burn and smiling. It's being completely bonkers in the eyes of others, not afraid to harm, to injure," he paused, a giggle ripping at his lips. "To kill." Ice shot at Remus' heart, but stopped, centimeters away from tearing at his skin. "But what it truly is, is torture. Your mind a castle of fears and nightmares. I suppose I'm unstable," Patton whispered, the hardness in his voice returning. "But, I can only promise you two things. One, lay a hand on my kid and the last thing you'll see is my face dripping with your blood, and two, you might wanna get prepared. If I'm crazy, my friends are mad." A crazed smile appeared on Patton's lips.

Remus stepped away, but felt Deceit's hand stop him. "Your kid?" Deceit asked.

"Mine."

Deceit scoffed, but the fear was obvious. Both he and Remus walked away, never looking back as they called, "We're already prepared." The door slammed, shutting Virgil and Patton away from Deceit and Remus.

"Holy shit, Dad," Virgil whispered in awe. In fear. In admiration.

Patton hummed. "Anything for my kid."

__________

Um, wow. Uh, I have no idea where that came from. I'm a bit crazy myself I guess. I'm sorry about Patton, btw. Well no, I'm not. That's how I see Patton, someone who is always holding in their anger and their insanity. He never shows his negative feelings, but when he does it's chaos. Anyways, I hope you enjoy.
