Once Khaibi found a seat on the bus everyone began talking about a conversation that had been dormant for a while.
"Do you think that we will see any similarities between the wolves and what we know about the animal that killed Lacy?"
"We're not even sure that it was a wolf, but I can't deny that I'm curious," Tony piped up from where he was sat, with Dean of course. Those two had become quite close since Tara's death.
"Pathetic, they obsess over a subject. It's in the past, why can they not leave it there? Why can no human leave things in the past?" Khaibi screamed to herself a she stared out of the window.
As the bus pulled onto the motorway, Khaibi pulled out a book to read. She had brought books and her iPod in case of a long journey so that she was not bored.
The book that she chose to read was one about Sorcery. It was called
Eyoksiara, Academy of Sorcery was located in one of the most isolated areas, with no towns around it the Academy still managed to provide the students with everything they needed. The closest town was located about a 2hr 30 min train ride away. There were of course faster ways of getting there using magic but most preferred the relaxing train ride.
Aster, a 17 year old Werewolf, was wandering around Pandora's Box, her favourite book shop. It held many books that told of Werewolves and Sorcery. Aster had become interested in Sorcery from a young age when her pack was betrayed by the Wizard who had sworn to protect them if they needed him.
What they needed protection from was not the other Werewolf packs but the one common enemy that unite the packs in times of great need.
Vampires.
Khaibi stopped reading there and shut the book with a violent slam, wearing a looks of annoyance
"I can't even concentrate on a fictional story about my kind. Hm, perhaps one of the other books I brought might stave off the boredom for a while," Khaibi thought as she replaced the book she had been reading into her bag and brought out another.
No one really paid much attention to Khaibi anymore, all of the friends that she had made slowly began to back off until there was little more than a hello when passing in the corridor or the polite asking of a question when sat together in class or when put in groups, but that was rare in itself as the teachers picked up on the fact that Khaibi had become isolated and often preferred it to company so they usually left her alone.
"Hey, Khaibi, what are you reading?"
The sudden question shocked Khaibi, it was not often that people spoke to her.
"Oh, I'm just reading this," Khaibi handed the book to Nadia who was sitting just across from her.
"Oh, it looks interesting. Dog of the land huh?" Nadia flipped through the book, read a page and then handed the book back with a small smile.
The small conversation had attracted the attention of several people who exchanged glances between themselves.
The bus then pulled into the huge carpark that was in front of the nature reserve. Khaibi put her parasol up and waited for the torture to begin.

When they finally arrived in the wolf enclosure, they were told not to get out of the vehicles that were there specifically so that the public could view the wolves without the risk of being attacked.
The cars could fit only the maximum of 5 people, there were 4 cars running simultaneously. Khaibi got put in the car with Dean, Tony and two other people. The other two sat in the front and Khaibi got sandwiched between Dean and Tony.
