"How would you like to get out of the building?"

"Oh and how do you plan on doing that genius?" Khaibi replied raising her eyebrows at Shade.

"Hm," Shade appeared to be deep on thought.

"You clearly didn't think this through," Khaibi rolled her eyes.

"We could always sneak out the back."

"Great and everyone would know I'm a vampire and your brother recognises me," Khaibi was getting frustrated at this point as it didn't seem like she's ever be getting out of here.

"Shade? Shade?" Dean called, he was fast approaching the room where they all were.

"Oh shit! Get rid of him!" Spark shoved Shade out of the door and slammed the door in his face.

"Ah brother, what did you want?" Shade headed for Dean and turned him around so that they were walking back the way they had come.

"What are you doing down there?" Dean asked, glancing back towards the room.

"Why are you so suspicious of me?" Shade yelled, annoyed that his own brother didn't trust him. Admittedly he had a reason not to but that was not the point.

"I found vampire blood in the house. What would a vampire be doing this far into headquarters?" Dean narrowed his eyes at Shade, Shade could have sworn that he suspected it was him.

"Perhaps one of your captives got loose, that has been known to happen to the best of them," Shade said, he knew that this would make his brother's blood boil, but he said it anyway. It also shifted the blame off him for a while.

"That ... doesn't ... happen ... to me," Dean growled, almost as if he was trying to convince himself just as much as his brother, "Besides, I have not caught one in a long time, they're avoiding us, like they know from looking at us that we're hunters."

"Well, the older ones do as they have probably run into hunters at some point," Shade shrugged.

"True, I mean, Khaibi didn't know I was a hunter till Tara took that photo," Dean said, casting a sideways glance at Shade.

"Well, it sounds like you met a really young vampire," Shade hit his anger well, it was a mask that he had worn many times before and this wouldn't be the last, "You were lucky, that's all."

"How dare you speak to me as if you know better, you gave up the title of Head of the family so you answer to me now. I will not have such disrespect from my subordinates, not even if it's my own brother," And with that Dean stalked off, obviously fuming. He couldn't mask his emotions that well yet.

"Brother, you know nothing yet," Shade sighed and headed back to the others.

"Father, I fear that headquarters has been compromised," Dean stood in front of Mr Ghoul and relayed the report, "I found vampire blood in the house."

"Have you investigated this?" Mr Ghoul had very little time to listen as he was expected at a big conference soon.

"Yes father, I think Shade is hiding something. I went to request his help in the matter and he was acting suspiciously, I think that he is hiding a vampire," Dean growled.

"That is a very serious accusation!" Mr Ghoul roared.

"I know but-" Dean began.

"Go. Come back when you have more proof," Mr Ghoul waved dismissively.

"But father-" Dean attempted to press the subject, already convinced of his brother's guilt.

"ENOUGH!" Mr Ghoul yelled, "If you are so sure of your brother's guilt then report it to the society, if not then wait and gather more information.
