Chapter 12

"But I'm too short to hold the banner!" shouted Gar.

"Hah, did you just admit you're shorter than me?" Jaime completely teased with his arms crossed, looking down on Gar.

"Okay, I bite, who's knocking?" Dick interrupted the silence between Raven, and Kori.

I softly face palmed before massaging my face.

Is this how Bruce felt with the Batfamily in his own manor?

Exhausting.

VERY exhausting.

I abruptly clapped my hands to catch all of their attentions,

"How about we do this?"

I faced Jaime and Gar,

"Jaime, you have wings, you can hold the banner up in the air. Gar, you hold the bigger present"

I turned to Raven, Kori, and Dick.

"I'll knock, since it was my idea" Raven stated before I had to.

I nod, accepting her decision.

"Kori, you hold the other side of the banner with Jaime. And Dick, you hold the cake"

"Simple as that!" I clapped my hands.

"And what are you going to do, hermana?" Jaime asked.

"I will be blowing this party horn" I showed them the object before they all nodded.

"Is she back?" Beast Boy questioned intensely.

"Calm down, love bird" I teased him.

He slightly turned pink. Even with his green skin, it's still noticable when he's blushing.

"I'm just... anxious" he replied.

"She's here" Raven informed after feeling her energy, I suppose.

"Are we ready?" She looked at all of us.

We all go to our positions.

"Ready" Gar replied with a thumbs up and a wink, plus a smile.

He freaking looks like a celebrity.

He really should become one, though.

Raven nodded before walking outside the room, closing the door.

We turned off the lights a few minutes after she left.

And then, there came the most slowest, quietest, intense, moment.

Waiting.

[Third POV]

Raven rushed in the dark room to hold the other few presents.

She had finished telling Terra about the 'meeting' in the common room.

She rapidly stood next to (Y/N).

"She's coming" she whispered.

"Okay" (Y/N) replied, getting even more ready.

They all heard the door open.

Footsteps became louder and louder before the lights switched on.

"Surprise!" The party horn was heard in the background.

Terra's reflexes caused her to create 2 tall rock structures and pointing it towards the team.

They all froze in shock. And, the party horn sounded like a depressing party horn instead.
