Chapter 19

"Uncle?" Damian questioned as he rotated to face (Y/N).

"He's not my REAL uncle, I just..."

She paused before continuing,

"When I was being trained back at the island, I used to call him that"

"Why?" Terra abruptly questioned, a bit annoyed.

(Y/N) gave a glare before replying,

"Because he promised me many things, that he became my 'favorite'"

She turned her gaze back to Deathstroke,

"Yet, he left. I used to like him as my trainer better than Ra's"

There was a brief silence before Slade spoke up.

"Can I speak to you alone?" He asked.

At this moment, she was hit by her train of thoughts.

'Why was he here?'

'If Terra wasn't the one who hit Damian, then it was Slade...'

She went along with his game and nodded.

Meanwhile, Terra stayed with Damian.

It was quiet before Damian broke it,

"He's lying to you. About everything"

She walked closer to him.

"He had you pegged from the start" she smirked, crossing her arms.

"That's how he does it"

"Mixing truth with lies" he added.

She slightly narrowed her eyes,

"You're so freaking annoying. You don't know anything about him"

"He saved me" she raised her voice.

"Let me guess, he kept you isolated" Damian looked down on her.

He continued,

"Dependent. Told you everyone was your enemy. Trained you, ruthlessly"

"And promised you exactly what you wanted. Believe me, I know"

Terra tensed a bit at hearing his words. It was true. All of it.

She denied it, though.

That's not what she wanted to think of Slade. He saved her, and she was grateful.

She clenched her fist and control the rocks on the wall where Damian was.

"I've always hated you" she spat as she continued to suffocate him.

"You and all the others"

"The Titans treated you like family" he mumbled through his grunts, struggling to escape from the grip of the rocks.

"(Y/N) treated you like her sister"

"And you threw it all away"

Terra didn't listen to him and continued. Anger filling her eyes.

"Stop..."

A strong grip held her hand and pulled it away.

Damian breath out as he tried catching his breath again.

"Can I leave you for two minutes?" Slade questioned with a scoff.

Terra removed her hand from his as she glared at Damian.

"I can see why you want him dead" she started walking away.

Slade followed behind before he was stopped by Damian's voice.
