The door to the principal's office was open.

Jason's probably inside already.

I was leaning on one side of the door frame while Damian layed next to me.

I decided to take a peek.

Looking inside, Jason was injecting something on Ms. Beli's neck.

She looked weird though.

Her eyes were purple instead of the usual color she had, blue.

Then her head fell down, but before she hit the table, Jason helped her from making a hard impact.

Turning back to Damian, he gave me a look, asking what I saw.

"Jason, injected something" I signaled my neck.

He nodded, silently telling me he understood.

RING

RING

My phone rang.

I looked at the name.

Perfect timing, dad.

I declined his call. Might be a mistake later.

Damian looked at me and then at someone behind me.

I put on an innocent smile and turned to see Jason.

"You know, you suck at being sneaky" Damian started.

"See, I wasn't trying to be sneaky" Jason said with a tranquil look.

"So what were you injecting in her?" I countered.

"It was an antidote to the gas she inhaled"

"Scarecrow's gas?" Damian chimed in.

"No. Another type. Somehow, the gem that your father stole, was turned into gas. My guess is that Scarecrow helped. Or well, Bruce's guess"

"So my father did this?" I whispered, lowering my head.

"I'm not saying it was your father. We don't know yet"

"He did mention that he was working with someone else" Damian stated.

So was the person he was working with was....

Scarecrow?

I glanced up to Jason,

"How did she get infected with it? And how did you know?"

He looked back at Ms. Beli who was unconcious,

"She'll wake up soon, so can we talk about it outside?"

Damian and I nodded and followed Jason outside of the school gates.

"Bruce said that her mother was expecting her to go home yesterday, but she didn't. She was missing till this morning. He told me to go check up on her and to bring this antidote just in case. When I saw all the students walking out of school early, I knew that something was up and that Bruce's speculation was right"

"So it was that manipulating gem?" I asked, even though I know that's exactly what he said.

"Yes" he replied.

"Why didn't tell us?" Damian questioned.

"It was an easy job, besides you were going to know either way" he shrugged.

"I'll go home and I'll speak to my dad, again" I mumbled my last word.

They all nodded and Jason started walking away,
