Just because I'm breathing doesn't mean I'm living
Just because my heart is hurting doesn't mean it's beating
My brain is there but not functioning
My legs are moving but I can't feel anything
I look around and see nothing
My ears alert but can't hear a thing
My tastebuds not even working
My stomach so empty but can't even hear it growling
Feels like I'm there but not living
Soul and body separated
Tried so hard to have them welded
But it was useless
I know I'm here
but am I living?
