What she thought would be an everlasting relationship has come to an end
what she feared of happening greeted her with open arms
she feels so naive, so dumb for thinking it would last forever
she thought they'd have a family together
one of their own with no one to bother them
she thought she'd spend the rest of her life with him
share each other's happiness and sorrow, grow old, and die together
But it now looks like some fantasy
your not so cheesy love story turned cheesy after all
it's like all the other relationships
But it wasn't meaningless, at least to her it wasn't
And sadly, she can't stop thinking about him
still imagining the two of them together whenever she thinks about the future
still waiting for him to text or call her
still waiting for him to tell her how much he loves and misses her
Here she lays now wishing everything would go back to the way it used to be

To see him and look into his eyes

she misses their talks, their arguments, and his sweet scent
