CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE | JEALOUSY DOESN'T SUIT YOU

"We're sorry, for everything we've done."

We all have told Norah everything, to the day we broke her heart and the other gang threatening us. The day our house caught on fire when our parents passed away. We did not purposely light the house on fire, and we didn't know that would be our parents passing day. My brothers and I thought it'd be a good idea to blame Norah for the fire and our parents, in reality, we certainly don't blame her for anything. She did nothing wrong and she's innocent, it was just a coincidence to blame her. 

Norah was wearing an unreadable expression, her lips were turned into a frown and we can tell she was in sorrow. She then turned to Ashton, "Is this true? Your brothers did this?"

He nodded, looking down as if he was ashamed. We were seated around the living room, and I was able to catch the way Cayden sneakily reached for Ashton's hand and squeezed. I raised an eyebrow, and couldn't help but smirk.

I put my attention on Norah, and that's when we all notice she has been silently crying. 

"I'm so glad you guys weren't faking anything," she whispered, wiping her tears, however, it was no use since they kept pouring out. "I'm so happy now, and I forgive you guys. You were just protecting me, I'm just glad to have my brothers back." 

I was the first to race to her, making her stand up and lean down to hug her. "I'm so sorry, I wish I was able to stop it. I'm glad to have you back," I whispered. 

"Don't say sorry, you did nothing wrong," she replied. 

We stayed like that for a few more seconds, before she pulled away. "Wait, I have a question. Were there cameras in every single room?"

We all stayed quiet, making her widen her eyes, "They've seen me naked?!"

"D-don't worry! I made sure they didn't see it!" Ashton reassured me, "Cameron was supposed to be in charge of the cameras and everything, but I was able to kick him out of the room every time you went to the bathroom," he frowned, "they were still able to see you naked, but not so much!" 

"That doesn't reassure that much," Norah told him. "Wait, so if you were able to kick them out, then did you see me naked?"

He turned completely red, "N-no! You misunderstood, I looked away, I promise! Please don't kick me out of the house, I have nowhere else to go!"
