Peter helped me limp into the living room and we sat on the couch.I like his couch because it was relaxing,comfy,and soft.

"I hate to ask some questions now about the fire,so we don't have to if you want."

"No,I think now is a good time."

He pulled out his notepad and pencil out of his coat pocket.

"So have you ever seen that man before?"

I started thinking to see if I had.I have a explicit but terrible memory.

"I have actually."

His expression changed into...Angry?But defiantly more intrigued.

"I've seen him follow me at places like cafe's,book stores,and markets.A few times walking animals.If you didn't already know,I'm a animal sitter.

His angry expression changed to a happy one.He jotted all the new information while I was fiddling with my hands.

"Have you met that man before?"

"No,He always creeped me out because he smelt of nicotine and Budweiser."

He went back to jotting the notes down.

"Has he been near your property before?"

"Only when I walk the dogs,but he'd be off in the distance pretending i'm not there."

He made a few more notes before he got up.I watched him walk to the bedroom and put down his notepad.He took off his shoes and laid them in the corner.He walked into the room with a tired but hardworking expression.He then sat beside me and rested his arm around my shoulders.I picked up the remote beside me and handed it to him.He switched on the tv and set down the remote.

We were watching some random show about two people in Love.It had a beautiful and romantic soundtrack.I rested my head on Peter's chest.His breathing and heartbeat was calming me.My eyes were wanting to close.

"It's alright if you go to sleep.You need it anyways."

So I listened to him.I drifted off to sleep with the last thing I heard was 'Cupid' by Johnny Nash but covered by Amy Winehouse.
