I was full of relief.I got home from work which was hell.It was a very busy day today.Lots of paperwork,yelling,and chattering.My anxiety is so bad so I don't like loud noises. I've never had an anxiety attack at work but I've been close to at times.Even though I just got home from work doesn't mean I'm finished.Alec was noticing my anxiety getting bad so he sent me home.Alec is my boss,roommate,and crush.Since me and Alec been friends ever since school and we found each other in Broadchurch he pitched the idea that we share an apartment.

Alec is aware of my anxiety and it's limits but he doesn't know I've been starving myself for the past week.To be honest I sometimes forget myself.Alec doesn't like it when I work after hours but i need to keep busy or my depression will eat me alive.

When I reached my room I sat down at my desk,logged onto my computer,and got back to work.

I was in the middle of typing a sentence when I heard the apartment door slam.

"Bad day?"

Alec walked in with scruffy hair and bags under his eyes.

"Isn't it always."

He put his coat on the bed,took off his tie,and walked into the main room.So I saved all my progress on my computer and closed it.Work may be important but Alec is more important.I walked into the room and slumped next to him.

He sighed looking exhausted.He tiredly closed his eyes and leaned his head back.

He looked so peaceful when he was resting.Sometimes after work he would wrap his arms around me and act like a little kitten.But tonight was not one of those nights sadly.

"y/n?" Alec asked tiredly.

"Yes alec?"

He fluttered his eyes open and looked at me.

"You want some fish and chips."

I had to say yes so he won't get suspicious.I'm just going to throw it away when Alec goes asleep.

"Sure."

So Alec went into our room to get dressed while I stood up from the couch.I was starting to feel a little light headed but I ignored it.About 2 minutes later Alec came out of our room with a worried face.

"y/n are you ok?"

"Y-yeah I'm fine.W-why?"

I was feeling worse at this moment but I didn't want to get Alec worried.

"Your pale as a ghost!"

Oh boy

"I'm fine I promise."

He hesitated for a moment before he said "Ok,Let's go then.So we walked to the door but after I took 5 steps my vision was getting blurry.

"Alec?"I said in an almost whisper.

He turned around to see me start to fall.Before I could fall to the ground he caught me in his arms.

When Y/n fell in my arms I picked her up and carried her to the couch.I carefully laid her down like if she was fragile glass.I sat on the floor next to the couch looking at her peacefully sleeping.I was about to kiss her forehead till I heard a rumbling noise.It was her tummy.I haven't seen her eat in a while but I thought she was.God damnit!I was so mad at myself for not making sure she was ok.If I want to be her boyfriend i'm gonna have to take care of her.

I woke up feeling like shit.I opened my eyes to see Alec staring at me with pink cheeks.Did he cry.

"y/n how why are you doing this to yourself?"

I sighed knowing there was no escape.

"Cause my anxiety,depression,and sometimes I forget."

He paused just looking into my eyes.I just noticed that Alecs hand was tightly holding mine.

"I care about you and I-I don't want to see you in pain."

A tear fell down his cheek.Which was rare because he has only cried in front of me but it's still rare.I wiped the tear away with my thumb.

"Y/n i'm really concerned about you so i'm going to help you either you like it or not." He said in a stern voice.

"I-I would be fine with that."I said with a small smile which made him smile.He kept smiling at me for a while till he asked another question.

"Why didn't you tell me you hadn't eaten anything sooner?'

I bit my lip to try not to cry.Before I could answer my tummy growled and I was feeling super hungry.

"Well let's talk about this later and work on getting you something to eat."

"Wanna pizza?"

I hesitated before I answered.

"With (favorite toppings)!"

He smiled and called a pizza place.

We had to wait 15 minutes so he laid down next to me and hugged me tightly but sweetly.I felt Alecs hand slide down to under my shirt and rub my stomach.It made me feel better.I smiled at his sweet actions.

"Thank You Alec.I don't know what I would do without you."
