Just so you guys know, this chapter will be in NO ONE'S POV. The reason for this is that Emily is being controlled by the liquid injected into her bloodstream, so anything she does in this chapter isn't really her. She's evil. Just a heads up!
NO ONE'S POV
Emily gets dressed in the shaggy, torn up clothes that she worn before. She makes her hair matted and creates bloodstains and fake bruises on her face and skin. Then, she sits in the corner of the room, awaiting the doctors arrival. Since she is being controlled by that stupid needle, this is all just a game for her. As she sits in the corner, she finally hears it; the tardis wheezing at it arrives.
It's time. The tardis lands in the opposite corner of the room, the doors already opening. Emily looks shocked and completely horrified as the doctor walks out. "Emily!" He says gleefully, already trying to come up to her. She scrambles back into the wall, looking helpless and terrified.
A confused look comes on his face, and he begins to advance towards her. "No! Don't come closer!" Emily screams in terror, scared that he will injure her. A hurt expression crosses the doctor's face as he takes a step back.
"Wha-what happened? Are you okay? I'm so sorry about the time, I'm not sure really how long it took because I don't know what time frame we're in, but I suppose it's been awhile. for me, it's been merely a minute. I-I know its hard to comprehend, but I swear to you that I'm here for you. To help you, Emily. Please." He says, teary eyed and his face filled with despair.
Emily shakes her head rapidly. "That's what they told me you'd say. Your lying! You've always been a monster, and you fooled me before. But I know now! They showed me what you really are." Her shaky voice comes out with anger mixed within.
"Emily... what happened? What-What did they do to you? They must have done something in your blood, or perhaps twisted your sense of reality in your brain to make everything I do look evil to you, so you really still are yourself. That would make sense." The doctor begins to pace. "But that would mean that they injected tracker jacker venom into your bloodstream, and that they are in fact aliens, just human-like. That would mean that they are... Panaphobes! Panaphobes from the planet Panem where they really think they are only human and that they live on earth, pity really. So that's what I'm fighting! Man, I'm brilliant!" The doctor throws his hands up in the air excitedly, spinning towards Emily once more.
"So," he continues, "to counter the venom inside of you, I would need to show you the real world, how it is to us. I need to show you my memories! Fantastic!" Without hesitation, the doctor comes towards her, grabs Emily's face in his hands and head-butts her.
She screams out in pain, holding her head and closing her eyes in concentration. And then a look of ease shows on her face and she relaxes her tense position. Emily opens her eyes and smiles, getting up and hugging the doctor. He picks her up and lightly places her on his hip, as if he were holding a very small and delicate child.
She cries into the doctor's shoulder as he kisses the top of her head and brings her into the tardis. The doctor gives Emily to River and Amy to hold and comfort, safely staying in the tardis while the doctor goes to take care of the aliens once and for all.
He quickly goes down dusty, narrow halls, past rooms with bars on the doors and screams from inside. Bloodstains splatter the stones that he continues to walk on, and the doctor is getting quite worried. It's practically an insane asylum. He thinks, continuing to make his way down the halls.
Eventually, he makes his way to the end of the long, twisted hall. A door stands ready at the end, just waiting to be opened. Hesitantly, the doctor opens the door and walks through with slow steps.
The old man who started everything, who tried to kill Emily and hurt the doctor, he sits at a table farthest from the entrance the doctor stands in. The name tag on his desk reads President Snow. Snow's eyes show a surprising coldness and indifference to the whole situation at hand, yet a hint of reticence lies beneath.
"Why hello, your presence is quite surprising, since we have guarded every entrance and exit nearby. Though, perhaps I shouldn't be that dumbfounded, considering the fact that you are known for such dramatic entrances." Snow says with all the calmness he could muster. He then takes a sip from his white mug, roses painted on the frame of it. When he puts it back, a hint of red stains his lips; almost as if he was drinking blood.
"Well, I can say almost the same to you, Snow, because you don't belong on earth, you should be in Panem right now. What brought you to earth?" The doctor snarls.
"Your little girl, is, I'm afraid, the chosen one. And we needed to run some tests on her, but it was practically impossible to separate you two, and she was never going to subject willingly. It was a complicated and somewhat devious test, yes, I admit it. However, we thought we got you out of the way when we set off the bombs in our old hideout. Pity, you came here and ruined all of our hard work." Snow stirs his drink with a spoon and looks right at the doctor.
"The chosen one! Are you kidding me?" The doctor spits out, a feeling of horror seeping inside of him.
"Well," Snow begins, "she isn't as much of the chosen one as she is something else. Something far more worse, far more dangerous, something that needs to be eliminated, or as I put it, contained. I should add the fact that she needs to be disintegrated and quickly. You do, however, have time to say goodbye to her."
"What is this horrible thing that she is then? If she is dangerous, then that means she is like me. Because guess what; I'm dangerous to things like you, and guess what? You haven't killed me yet, and you most certainly won't be killing her! What is so threatening in her future, huh? Tell me!" The doctor yells, slamming his hands down on Snow's desk, scowling immensely.
"She is the destructor, doctor, she is the one thing the universe predicted long ago, she is the nightmare of every world out there. She is a time-lord. You and River, well, Melody Pond is a time lord, and so are you. Obviously, your secret child from the future came back, as predicted, memory wiped and all. Your the doctor, who fixes the world as best as he can, and she is the destructor, who will destroy everything as we know it; the killer of the universe."
