Blinking, I slowly wake up, dazed. At first, everything is blurry. My head spins. My limbs ache. Then all at once everything spins into reality. I'm chained to a chair in a sketchy room with one, flickering light. I can just make out what is written on the wall: Emily. And it's in blood. My name is in blood on a sketchy wall in a scary room. Great. Just what I needed.

Then I see it; the camera. It's in the left corner of the wall. The red light is flashing, so apparently I'm being watched. How did I end up here? Was I scared? Who grabbed me? I don't remember.... And.... I don't know where I am.. (Sorry, had to throw in that reference. Continue) Then I see my arms, which arm covered completely in tallies. So it was the silence. Then I hear a voice in my head. You are being used as live bait for the doctor. Don't blink, you may live then, just don't blink. The weeping angel may look harmless, it's not. Just don't blink.

Then I see it: a statue of a woman crying into her hands. And yes, she has wings. But she is a statue; she can't possibly be dangerous. I look away, wanting to find something that would get me out of here. I look back at the statue and screech, almost knocking my chain backwards. Her hands are away from her face, and a creepy smile that wasn't there taunts me.

Terrified, I realize it moved closer, too. Now, I make sure not to blink, staring at the weeping angle with all I've got. My eyes begin to water and sting, and my hands begin to tremble. I cant do it. I blink for a millisecond, just enough to get the water out of my eyes, then I open them again. The weeping angel now has its arm reaching out to me, and is definitely closer then before.I scream again, louder then the first time, and try desperately to escape the chains binding me to the chair, while keeping my eyes on the statue.

With no luck and my eyes about to close, I give up, slouching and starting to cry. What else would a 13 year old do? I close my eyes, keeping them closed for longer then I should've. It was going to kill me, I knew it, and I just gave up. When It didn't get me after a minute or so, I opened me eyes, confused. The statue is gone.

An old, smirking man is standing in the corner. "Do you want me to help you?" He asks, laughing. His smile is freaking me out. I just stare at him, thinking that I must be dead. "Or I can give you back the weeping angel." I shake my head no furiously. "Just so you know, my help always comes with a price. Do you want my help or not?" He says with a glint in his eyes.

Creeped out, I slowly accept his help, desperately hoping the price isn't to bad. He laughs, about to unchain me, when suddenly the doctor bursts through the door. "Stop! I give up, I will tell you, just stop, please!" The doctor screams in what I assume was despair.

The man who was going to help me, backs up, scowling. "Fine." He mutters and storms out. The doctor unchains me and hugs me until I can't breathe. "Alright, Emily, I'm going to be gone for a little while, okay? Go straight to the Tardis, they won't hurt you now. I will be back, I promise." He kisses my forehead and leaves the room.

I leave the place they were holding me in and make my way back to the Tardis. The weird thing is, the weeping angels and the silence stand are in the distance, I see them, but they aren't hurting me. I get in the Tardis, and lock the door behind me.

When I turn around, a women with curly hair and a crazy look in her eyes smiles at me. "Hello. I'm River Song, and we are going to save the doctor."
