"Hey, Eren, it's started raining and the roof isn't all that good," Levi whispered into my ear. I silently nodded my head before detangling myself from him. The second I did I started shivering, the rain was making it much colder than it should be.
I quickly made my way down the rope ladder from the tree house and waited at the bottom for Levi. The treehouse was doing a great job to block the rain from hitting me. I wrapped my arms around myself, trying to get any sort of warmth. I leaned up against the large tree and stared up towards the sky.
It was cloudy, so the entire night had turned much darker than earlier. The rain made an annoying noise, causing a small headache to slowly grow. I have always hated rain, and to be in a storm now with finding that black rose just isn't okay with me. Levi announced his presence by grabbing hold of my hand, and I didn't object in the slightest.
Levi pulled me back in the direction of our cabin and we walked back, in the rain, and in silence. The cabin came into view about ten minutes into the walk, and I let out a sigh of relief. All I wanted was to lay in bed and sleep forever. Although, Levi seemed to have different ideas.
We walked up to the door to our cabin, but Levi put out his arm to stop me from entering.
"What, Levi?" I asked, giving him a small smile. He didn't respond, just took a step closer to me. I almost asked what he was going to do until he grabbed the front of my shirt and pulled me down. Our noses touched, and then I realized just how close we are. His eyes bore into my own, although I couldn't keep the eye contact very long. I looked down and saw just how close his lips were. And how soft they looked. And maybe I started thinking about how it would be to kiss him.
Apparently he had the same idea as he gently applied his lips to my own, causing my eyes to widen in shock. I shouldn't have been shocked, but I most definitely was. With the initial shock out of the way, I kissed him back. Oh god, did I kiss him back. I kissed him with so much passion, and Levi reciprocated the emotion. I could feel his he felt in the moment, and all I could feel was admiration and affection.
I wrapped my arms around his waist, pushing it up against my own. I felt his own arms wrap around my neck.
Alas, human needs are a little important so we did end up cutting our kiss off just to breath. Damn human needs!
"Eren..." He said, his breathing just a little heavy from out kiss. "I just wanted to say...I admire you for how strong you are. Although it might not seem like it, you have been so strong in dealing with Mikasa's death. It's never easy, and I'm sorry for saying what I did back in the storage room."
"Levi, it's fine. I can tell you have things bothering you too. In a psychological aspect, most people who have bad pasts or tragedies that have happened to them usually end up shielding themselves. They hide themselves by doing something, a hobby, sport, a want to know more, etcetera. You are also hurting and you are hiding, and I'm here to help you,"

The next morning, I awoke in a very warm bed. Much warmer than it usually is, and that was deeply concerning. In no world imaginable would I ever sleep in an extremely warm place. Warm beds made me uncomfortable and kept me from sleeping.
Except this warmth. It seemed to be coming from one place and that was right next to me. Looking over I saw a head of black hair and a beautiful face. Never had I thought a man sleeping would look beautiful, and yet here was Levi proving me wrong again.
I sat up, careful not to wake the sleeping Levi. It was very easy to tell the man suffered from insomnia due to the dark rings under his eyes and the constant consumption of anything and everything caffeinated. I stretched my arms out, still mindfully aware of the sleeping man. Said man wrapped an arm around my waist, preventing me from moving any further.
I let out a soft laugh as he kept a tight grip on me. He let out a groan of annoyance as he started walking up. His eyes slowly fluttered open, those pretty blue eyes.
"Good morning," I muttered out, using one hand to play with Levi's hair. He hummed in content as I started messing with the black strands of hair on his head.
"Mornin'...time?" He asked, letting go of the hold on my waist. I didn't want to say it, but I was extremely disappointed that he was letting go of me.
"Around 7, we have to get to the main Lodge by 7:30."
"Alright, let me get up Eren," he said, sitting up on his elbows. I gave a dramatic sigh in response and quickly let go of Levi. He stumbled out of the small twin bed and started walking over to his dresser.
"You smell nice..." I mumbled out, completely unaware I had spoken that aloud. And having slept next to the man all night I could definitely smell how good he was; lemon and lavender. Odd combination, but then again Levi is odd.
"Is that so? Then you look nice," he said, smirking towards me, before walking into the ensuite bathroom. He sashayed his hips, making him look so much more attractive.
"Damn..." Levi is one mighty fine man.
