Patrixia's POV

I came near the bushes, I can feel my heartbeat getting faster, I mean, how am I supposed to feel? I'm a nine year old girl, alone in Wolverhampton streets!

I don't want to be eaten by a random rabid dog or something! Gosh.

So then, I leaned slightly to look over the bushes when a head popped out.

I jumped a bit, "Please don't eat me!" I said as I covered my face with my hands.

" I won't, don't you worry." A boyish voice replied. I removed my hands from my face and looked at him.

"Hi?" I said more like a question.

"Hello." He said cheerfully.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, looking at him.

"I'm resting actually, I just got finished playing with... Myself." He said, a bit sad at the end.

"Oh, are you homeless?" I asked, concerned.

He laughed. "Nope. I'm your neighborhood actually." He said getting out of the bush.

"I never see you here." I said quietly.

"Yeah, because I only go out during the night." He explained.

"Oh you must be a vampire? But why are you so kind?? And not sucking my blood?" I asked like a stupid girl.

He laughed harder at my statement. "You're making me look like a idiot." I scolded him.

"Because I'm not a vampire! What made you think that?" He said and laughed at me.

"Then what are you?" I questioned a bit irritated while fiddling on my fingers.

" I'm boy isn't it obvious?" He said and laughed again.

"I know, but why do you only go out during the night? Duh.." I asked sassily and went back to the bench and sat there.

He sighed and sat beside me. "Because I don't wanna go out during the day.." He replied.

"And why not?" I just kept on asking him.

"Because the kids here kept bullying me, I also skip classes so I won't get bullied you know." He explained and frowned.

"Aaww.. I feel sorry for you, but why do they bully you?" I asked at him and pouted.

"I don't know actually." He said, looking down.

"Well, that's okay, but why don't you stand for yourself?" Said and smiled awkwardly.

He looked at me, "I can't." He replied, his voice was sad.

"How do you say that? Have you tried?" I said, raising my left eye brow.

"No I haven't--" I cut him off, "Exactly. You haven't so, you gotta try." I stated in a encouraging way.

"But as I've told you, I can't." He said, shaking his head.

"You can, don't be such a baby.." I said and laughed a bit.

"I can't, stop pushing." He said, his voice was low.

"I'll help you." I said in a suggesting way.

"Really?!" He said cheerfully and looked at me.

"Yeah." I said and hugged him I can feel him breathe for air, I feel like he's smelling me. That's funny. Haha.

"So .. What's your name?" He asked, We both laughed as we realized we don't even know each other's names.
