CHAPTER 45

Arnav and Khushi came inside ...as soon as they entered photographers had already started taking their pictures making Khushi more nervous and held Arnavs hand for support...and sat in the seats allotted to them facing the media....

Aman comes forward and welcomes them all ...after this..Arnav starts speaking...

ASR:Thank you all for coming here even though I had informed you just a day before....I am here to announce that I have been married to this beautiful lady sitting next to me for about a month now!!!

Arnav looks at Khushi and gives her a smile to which even she too reciprocates genuinely....

Media and press people were shocked but soon regained and started with rain of questions ...making the place noisy all of a sudden...

ASR(sternly):I would answer your questions only when you behave with certain decency gentlemen....

Soon one by one started asking questions ...in turns..

Reporter1:First of all congragulations to you both!!Why did you keep this as a secret till now ASR??

ASR:Thank you..as u all know We had a pre fashion show event few days before in Goa...I didn't want any media attention that time that would deviate all the attention to my marriage from the show...so I thought to give it a time!!

Reporter 2:Is it a love or arranged marriage ASR??

ASR:It is an arranged marriage ...arranged by our families..

Reporter 3:What does Mrs Raizada do??

Khushi looked at him for this question to which Arnav nodded his head to her for her to answer to that question...

Khushi:Well...I was working in a private firm recently...but I have also cleared my UPSC exams and I have my training two months from now!!

Reporter 4:Are you thinking to join civil services even after being Mrs Raizada??

Khushi:Yes...But I don't get it what it has to do with being Mrs ASR??

Reporter 4:I meant being Mrs ASR itself comes with lot of fame and power ...so would you still think of joining??

ASR:I think Khushi is also an individual than being just my wife with her own dreams and aspirations about her life...I think no one or me as a matter of fact should have any problem with her profession whichever she may chose to...Infact I am really proud to tell that my wife is will be an IAS officer very soon...

Khushi looked at him surprised with a layer of tears in her eyes listening to his words as she had never heard anyone telling that they were proud of her...for some one she was responsibility,for few she was a headache...for few she was non existent...her respect for her husband had increased 10 folds just by his simple words...she smiled at him full heartedly seeing him looking at her!!
