CHAPTER 19
Arnav enters room....totally shocked to see the room fully decorated with scented candles,flowers on the bed....n a dim light switched on surely it was di’s idea he thought...it was indeed romantic but he was nt ready to take this step forward n he knew even Khushi wasn’t....but khushi was nt in the room then she found her standin in the poolside watchin stars....
ASR:Khushi.....
Khushi(turns listenin to him callin her):OH...sorry i din knw that u came....i was just standin here...
ASR:(thinkin)she looked beautiful under the moon light... ...thts ok....I think u would want to change??
Khushi:Ya...but...
ASR:I knw wat ur thinkin....but i think lets understand each other first....than u knw(he din knw wat to tell her)
Khushi(shocked seein his reply):thank you....do u mind if i use the washroom first....??
ASR:No nt at all....i have some files to look u carry on...
(Khushi sat infrnt of the dressing mirror started removing her ornaments one by one...n Arnav kept glancing at her now n then unaware of his glancing Khushi continued with her work...n finally she removed all the hair pins holdin her hairs together in bun.....tht fell like a waterfull which reached till her waist....she was one hell of a beautiful woman thought Arnav...n his wife...now..(he smiled inwardly)....)
Khushi came out of the bathroom wearin white n pink night dress with her hair wet frm bath....n with only mangalsutra adornin her neck...makin her look beautiful n fresh....devoid of makeup n ornaments....
She came out n then Arnav went in......n came after getting freshen up....
Khushi:did u take ur medicines??
ASR(shocked):No....but how do u knw??
Khushi:Actually Nani had told on the day i came to ur house...so i thought....
ASR:OK i’ll take now(he had his tablets)
ASR:Khushi u sleep...i have to give a presentation to a foreign client tmrw...i ll work on it fr some time....
Khushi:But Sunday?
ASR:Ya its only us....the dealers n investors...n the company owners...n its already late....we cant postpone it again....
Khushi:Oh...ok....can I help u in anyway??
ASR:No...no...thts ok...i am used to workin at this time....n di told me u sleep early..n its already late...
Khushi...Ya...I sleep early only when my work is finished...but i think i can stay fr few hours n help u so that even u can also sleep soon....n u look tired also...
ASR:But....
Khushi:But if u don want it...its fine...
ASR:NO...no...nthn lik that...I dono how u could help me...as i have to prepare the presentations from the designers report...
Khushi:OH...!!i can suggest u somethn...
ASR:Go on...
Khushi:As i have no idea abt design part... y don’t u just underline the imp points from the report...n  ill make it a bullet in points fr the ppt putting them in to slides....so that once u finish markin second report i would have finished the ppt of first...n later u can check the ppt n edit as per ur requirements...
ASR:(He liked the idea...but he was nt sure abt Khushi’s writin skills n her presentin way..but he thought to take a chance...)ok.....will do it...
N they started their work in pool side while Arnav markin imp points....n Khushi preparing points fr the same...n finally around 2.00A.M they finished...
Arnav seein her exhausted face....
ASR:Khushi...ppt is done....u go n sleep...i ll just recheck n everythn n cm!!
Khushi:R u sure??
ASR:Yup....(he smiles)
Khushi:ok.....(she leaves n sleeps on the bed)
ASR:(sighs n goes through the ppt....indeed it was a very good ppt ,just to the point with no unnecessary details...with only bullet points....after finishin checkin he came n took the other side of the bed whr Khushi was sleepin)
ASR:(thinkin)Today so many thngs happened finally he is married n Khushi bcam his wife....n the first night together they worked together like a business partners on the presentation...though he knew she was tired but she helped him so that even he could get enough sleep n finish his work soon...n she reminded him to have his tablets which showed her care fr him....he smiled thinkin abt that...n looked at her sleepin peacefully with her legs curled up in a foetus position.....he thought lookin at her who would knw that she is the same grl who defied an police officer n also the future IAS officer...he smiled at the thought...n closed his eyes to get some sleep....
7.00A.M
Arnav gt up frm his sleep to find the other side of bed empty....he saw the time n realised that Khushi might be downstairs with nani...after freshnin up he came downstairs he saw Nani n Khushi sitting in the sofa n havin their tea n chattin abt somethn...Nani saw him n called him...
Nani:Gd mrng chote...cm n have ur black tea...its ready
ASR:Mrng Nani....(he lightly smiled at khushi n she too did the same)
Nani:Khushi beta did Anjali beta send u pics of yesterday??
Khushi:Ya nani...she has sent....here it is...
nani kept her mug down on the table n started lookin at the pics where as Arnav was busy in readin business newspaper n he took Nani’s cup instead of his bcs his attention was on the paper..nt on the mug..he drank a bit of it...instantly spitting out....
ASR:Wat **** is this Nani?
Nani n khushi both were shocked to see him spittin the tea....
Nani:(noticing the mug in hand)Chote thats mine...ur tea is here...(she showed)
ASR:(makin the weird face)But wat is this...n y this tastes so horrible n y r u drinkin this??
Nani:Chote this is jeera milk,Khushi beta prepared fr me.. its very good fr digestion...u knw na i have indigestion prblm...apparently in their house everybody drinks this bcs it prevents all kind of nasal infection n joint pains...n when i told her my indigestion prblm few mins bfre she prepared it fr me ...
ASR:Oh...OK.....
Nani:Can u prepare any sweet beta tdy??do u knw??
Khushi:I am nt much of a grt cook nani but i knw few dishes n sweets....i can prepare Kheer fr tdy...
Nani:Thts ok....no need to rush...prepare whatever u knw....I suggest u n chote learn cookin dishes together when u r learnin.. teach chote also beta
Both Arnav n Khushi r shocked to hear this n looks at each other
ASR:(shocked)wat the....!!but y me nani??
Nani:Bcs even men need to knw cookin as it can be helpful to impress ur wife, cook fr them on special days n most importantly when she is tired or sick u can do it fr her right chote??
ASR:I’ll try Nani...
Nani:Go n start preparing beta....If u need anythn help ask me or HP don hesitate....
Khushi:Ok nani(she leaves)
ASR:Ok nani...i have a meetin tdy i’ll get ready....
Nani:Chote...try to be here soon...
ASR:I’ll try Nani...( he leaves)
After getting ready he came downstairs where he had his usual brkfast with Khushi’s sugarless kheer..it was indeed tasty he thought...n biddin bye to both he started walkin toards the door..when he was called by Khushi..
Khushi:Arnav....
ASR:(turned back)yes...
Khushi:U din take ur tablets...(she gives him)
ASR:thanks(smiles)bye
Khushi:Bye(smiles slightly)..
Walkin towards the door Arnav was feelin like kid now fr experiencing to be taken care of...wishin a bye everyday...n welcoming back home....he felt happy n thought wat a good start of the day!!n leaves to his office...
