the funeral

The time for the funeral sadly arrived, you got Taelyn and Jaesung ready to go and Felix started to get them in the car

Felix: you ready?

You: ready as I'll ever be

//to the funeral//

You guys all got out of the car and started walking into the funeral home

You saw Anita, Sungyu's mom in the doorway greeting everyone and then she saw you and froze

You guys all walked over and greeted her and she hugged you automatically

Anita: I'm so sorry for what he's done to you, you didn't deserve that

Taelyn: grandma?

She stopped hugging you and looked at Taelyn and back at you

Anita: is this her?

You nodded and smiled

Anita: hi baby, it's so nice to finally meet you, there's some cookies over there, you want to get some?

She smiled really big and said yes so she took her over to the cookies and brought some back

Anita: why don't we go and sit down for a bit and talk

You guys all sat down and there was an awkward silence for a bit

Felix: um hi, my name is Felix, I'm her fiance

She shook his hand and smiled

Anita: so you're getting married? And is this Jaesung? The new baby? Can I hold him? Sorry I'm asking so many questions, I just want to start up a conversation

You: it's ok, and of course you can hold him

You handed Jaesung to her and he stayed asleep

Anita: he's really an angel, how is he for you guys?

Felix: he's perfect, along with Taelyn, they're both amazing

Anita: you know, I know you guys just met me and all but if you need someone to help out with the kids, I'm always here, I'll watch them and help with the finance since Sungyu never did

You: really you would do that?

Anita: of course I would, what kind of grandma would I be if I didn't spoil my grandkids

She hugged you and hugged Felix

Anita: you guys deserved so much better than what he gave you, I was so disappointed to have learned about all of this until after he had passed but I'm happy I know now, because I have more family now

You couldn't help but feel so much better with her, she was such an amazing mom, and she was awesome with the kids as well, she was perfect

Chan: oh you're back, y/n your parents are here, they wanted to talk to you I guess

Mom: hi darling, here come sit down

Dad: y/n its about time we talked about this

You: Felix, take the kids upstairs and up to bed

Dad: your mother and I have invested in many businesses across the world and the business we have here has been bought by someone else, we need someone to run the business in Thailand

Mom: you will be moving there for that job

You: what no I will not, I live here, my family is here

Dad: y/n this is the only way we can keep our money, you have to help us out

You: help you out?! Do you know how many times I wished you helped me out? You left me behind ok? I'm not leaving and running the business, end of story.

They both looked at you, frustrated and filled with anger

Mom: if you do not do this, we will not come to the wedding

You: so what, I don't care, leave, I've been able to live this long without you guys, just leave and don't come back

Dad: you're making yet another big mistake

You: what do you mean yet another big mistake?

Dad: well you've got three upstairs right now

You suddenly got really red in the face and filled with anger

You: are you saying that my fiance and children are big mistakes?

Mom: yes y/n, you see where you are right now? This isn't the life you should've had

You: I don't care, I'm happy now, I'm happier without you both trying to ruin everything, leave my house

They both got up and left slamming the door shut

You broke down on the couch crying and felt someone's arms around you, you looked and it was Jisung

Jisung: don't worry everything will be ok, I'll walk you down the aisle, and I'll help you with your dress and everything, you don't need them ok?

He kissed your forehead and kept hugging you
