Since the Curtis brothers are so close to Two-Bit, Johnny, Dallas and Steve, the Curtis parents treat them as their own sons. Each year, Mrs. Curtis would give each boy a birthday party, since their parents won't do it. She has done it ever since she knew the boys, and has kept doing it until her death.
