Sometimes home can be another person
❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧❧Jonah began walking down the path that lead to a white light. He knew exactly where he was. He was tempted to go back, for Matthew. But he knew he didn't belong on Earth anymore. Earth wasn't his home. It never was.
As Jonah neared the end of the path, big golden gates appeared. There stood God himself. Jonah fell to his knees, praising his lord, his savior.
"My son," God said.
"Stand up." He commanded, Jonah immediately standing up. "You are here for Corbyn aren't you?" God questioned Jonah making Jonah immediately nod his face.
"He's been waiting for you as well," he chuckled. "Before I let you in, are you sure? Once you walk in, there is no going back," God commented.
"I'm sure," Jonah didn't hesitate to answer.
"Follow me," God said as the golden gates opened.
Jonah walked with God. Many angels were everywhere. They had their white wings that looked clean to perfection. Clouds were everywhere. It was just like how Jonah imagined Heaven. Beautiful, peaceful, and very white.
"Before you reunite with Corbyn, i would like for you to see Matthew Marais and Carrie Marie," God said.
"Carrie Marie?" Jonah questioned.
"Yes, Matthew's twin," God said as Jonah's jaw dropped. Tears aligning his eyes.
Jonah nodded and watched from above as his whole family met the twins. Little did he know, Corbyn was watching the same thing. Not knowing that they were minutes away from meeting once again.
"They're so perfect," Jonah whispered.
"Of course," God laughed. "I'll make sure to keep an extra eye on them," he said.
"Thank you," Jonah said.
"It's time," God said as Jonah nodded. He was ready.
Soon they came to cloud. They walked around and there he was. He looked absolutely beautiful. He was dressed in all white and his wings all full display. His back towards Jonah.
"Corbyn, my son," God said causing Corbyn to turn around. A gasp escaping his mouth as he looked next to God.
"Jonah!" He screamed and he ran toward Jonah. Jonah doing the same. They met in the middle.
"My love," Jonah said, crying.
"You're here," Corbyn whispered.
"I'm here forever," Jonah commented making Corbyn hug him tighter.
"These belong to you," Jonah said as he took off Corbyn's promise and engagement ring from his right hand. And put them back on Corbyn's.
"They have always belonged to you," he added further.
"I love you so much," Corbyn said, connecting his lips with Jonah's.
"I love you so much more," Jonah said once they pulled away.
"Now, to watch over our kids from up here," Jonah smiled at Corbyn which he returned.
They looked down and watched as their families continued to gush over the twins.
Jonah went behind Corbyn and hugged him from behind as they intertwined their hands together over Corbyn's chest.
And then Corbyn whispered the words that made everything fall perfectly into place.
"Welcome home"

That's the end! I'm SOBBING! 😭
Thank you for coming on this journey with me. It means so much to me! And don't worry, I'm already working on a new Jorbyn book! Two to be exact! Here's both descriptions!I'll have another chapter thanking y'all after this. But I could seriously never thank y'all enough 💜🥺
Also! I'm debating if I should make a spin off to this book and make a book on how the twins are raised by Daniel, Jack, and Zach. And the social media come into play as well as the letters that Jonah had wrote! But I'm not sure if it's a good idea! What do you guys think?!
