Adoption - Sanders Sides One Shots

"Teenagers"

Today, all of the sides including Deceit and Remus had gone to do a sander sides video... without Virgil. Virgil had quite frankly not been down with the idea, and to be fair no one could blame him. He simply didn't trust the snake bitch and deodorant eating parasite that called themselves "sides".  As well as the fact that the rest of the sides had gone willingly into this deal hadn't soothed Virgil's parino--  anxiety at all.

But, after countless sit-downs and Patton, Logan, and Roman talking him through. Virgil had agreed to what they were saying.

And now here he was. Sitting in his room bored out of his mind, and worrying way to much. He knew the sides had said it was going to be ok. He knew that was what they said. He believed them too... and yet. He was still nervous.

"God damn it. Uggggggggggggg~. Pheeeeew.... you're ok Virgil. Your Ooooo Kkkk. God, I gotta get my mind off this."

Virgil was panicked, he was trying to believe what the other sides had said but it simply wasn't working. "M-maybe I should p-play some music." Virgil refused to have an anxiety attack at a time like this. All of the sides were filming a video he wasn't going to ruin it for them. Maybe that was the reason the other sides hadn't wanted him in the video in the first place. He would have just ruined it.

"Stop it Virgil, stop thinking like this."

The panic was only getting stronger and harder to control so pushing the thoughts out of his mind for as long as possible he grabbed his headphones and played some music. Loud distracting music.

Virgil laid down on the bed and turned his volume up to it's max. His hearing could suffer the consequences later. Right now all he cared about was the music and keeping himself (and in return Thomas) calm.

"Because they sleep with a gun, and keep an eye on you son so they can watch all the things you do."

Virgil got off his bed and headed to the door not really caring about the slamming sound it made as the door was harshly thrown open. MCR always seemed to do that to him, it made him lose his nervous tendencies... even if only for a minute. That and the music blowing his eardrums out drowned out any other sounds in the mind space right now...including Virgil's own thoughts.

As Virgil made his way down the hall he started singing along to the music, not caring if he was loud and obnoxiously town deaf. (Virgil was, in fact, not tone-deaf and singing completely on key, but he didn't know, and honestly couldn't care less.)

"They said that TEENAGERS SCARE THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME! THEY COULD CARE LESS AS LONG AS SOMEBODY BLEEDS. SO DARKEN YOUR CLOTHES AND STRIKE A VIOLENT POSE. Maybe they'll leave you alone but not me."

At this point, Virgil was in the mind space's living room. The small living room was a nice place that all the sides enjoyed with tons of pillows and couches scattered around the room. But right now the room was being used as a personal stage for Virgil's air guitar solo.

Under normal circumstances the dark clothed emo would not have been caught dead doing something as loud and obnoxious as this. But right now no one was around to watch the MCR fanatic as he through pillows left and right on the floor as well as across the room.

...At least, he thought no one was watching.

The rest of the sides (excluding Virgil) had returned from the recording "sesh" with Thomas early and just so happened to walk in on Virgil singing. Lucky the music was so loud that Virgil didn't notice the sudden presence of 5 sides behind him.

Deceit's idea was to just go up to Virgil and stop him. For he thought it would be the best way to embarrass the poor emo. Remus just wanted to videotape it, and use it for blackmail later. Patton, on the other hand, would not either one of these ideas pass and instead took charge (for once) and punched both Remus and deceit in the stomach.

Yes... punched.

If a dad really, and I mean really wants to video their kids, for his personal enjoyment later on may I add, then nothing, and I mean nothing. is going to stop them.

Patton proceeded to tell Logan to warp the two trouble makers in question to there rooms and lock them in there, guard them, watch them! Do whatever, as long as they didn't get out. The next bit was a bit trickier, luckily Roman was five steps ahead of him.

Patton wanted Roman to use his creative ability to forcibly drop the rest of Virgil's anxiety. It most circumstances this would be near impossible for a couple of reasons.

First of all, if a side knows that another side is trying to influence their actions said side can easily refuse. Think of it as if Deceit was trying to get Patton to lie using his power as aside. BUT, Patton is aware of the fact that Deceit is trying to manipulate him. Because of this Patton can easily refuse knowing that the temptation to lie is not his own thought but someone else makes it a lot easier to deny them.

Secondly, a certain thing for each side makes there weakness decline, or, at least not affect the side as much/in the same intensity as before. For Virgil, this happens to be music which is the reason why he nearly always has his headphones on him at all times.

Now getting Roman to use his power on Virgil was "mean" and, as stated before, wouldn't have been done on most occasions. But Virgil was already halfway there in losing all his anxiety around the sides for the first time...ever.

It was simply too much of an opportunity for the other sides to pass up. And so Roman got to work.

Slowly but surely— actually, it happened rather fast. A short 20 seconds after Roman began you could already see a difference in Virgil's demeanor. It's was amazing and jaw-dropping all at once.

He was a beautiful singer and all the sides present were in awe, including Roman, and he thought no one (other than himself) could impress him with their singing voice. It truly was a magical occasion. What a shame it had to end, as all things did of course. For as Virgil turned around he spoted the sides staring at him, my oh my was he NOT happy to see them.
