She's coming for my birthday week. But what I'm really excited for is her meeting Lianna. All weekend my phone blew up with calls from mom expressing her excitement to meet her 'future daughter-in-law.' Her word exactly. I'm happy she so welcoming toward my love even though they haven't met in person. Lianna went to the campus to pick up some things. Once I pick her up we'll go to the airport.
Apparently she took off from work today to be able to come with me to the airport. Lianna's really nervous but excited as well. I promise her there's nothing to be nervous about because my mom loves anyone who make me happy.
Maria Amelia Di Stefano the woman who gave birth to me on August 13th 1988. She loved my father. We were a happy family of three until my father past away when I was in high school. I know she still grieves him to this very day but everyday it gets a little easier. I don't know another woman as strong as her. Because I know who she is and I know who Lianna is I know they'll love each other.
Today was one of the rare days I decide to take a personal day because I wanted to get the guest room prepared for mom, as well as stock up on groceries and those kind of stuff. So I have no priorities today other than picking up my two favorite women in the world. I dress nice in a new pair of jeans and a button up, with leather shoes. The one good thing about summer is getting dressed quicker since there's less layers to put on.
Instead of taking the Lambo I climb in the audi since I need trunk space for mom's luggage. Knowing her she's packed way too much stuff. My mom's the type of person that's going away for four day and packs a carryon and a duffle bag. Why I have no idea. Her excuse is she needs to be prepared for any situation that arises.
It's a gorgeous day so I keep the windows down as I cruise. The sky is that summer blue color with almost no clouds in sight. One of those day when it's perfect to go on a picnic. When I drive up to the building I get out to wait for Lianna. Looking around I notice a few students loitering around. Probably doing classes in the summer to catch up. Lianna was only her to pick up some stuff for next fall.
As I continue to observe my surroundings I see a calm looking Stacie walking towards me. What the hell does she want? Honestly this girl is annoying. I turn a way maybe she didn't see me or is going to someone else. Nope she walks around to the side I'm leaning on coming next to me.
