🐇

Placing the last throw pillow on the bed I sight. It has been a very stressful week of arguing, crying and yelling. We were good for the first couple of days but after we disagreed on whether we should have a couch or not things just went downhill. I wanted a couch to sit on and he didn't and insisted on only getting couch chairs since it will take up less space.  In the end, I stormed off Ikea and he continued to shop. I didn't come home until midnight and found Jinyoung laughing with a man, JB or something like that. They looked very cozy together. I wanted to yell at him for bringing another man into the house but I have no right. I am just a potential friend, he made that clear the other day.

I don't date and friendships only happen when I have something in common with someone. Jinyoung and I will probably never be friends because we were complete opposites. He was like the light and I'm like the darkness. He was so bright it hurt to look at him. He was just so breathtaking and so kind. I, on the other hand, was like someone's worst nightmare. Something that people were afraid to look at. Jinyoung could fix things, while I break them.

Yesterday I apologized for my behavior in Ikea and helped him assemble all the furniture, like the coffee table, and the two chairs. Jinyoung had been right about not needing a couch, the apartment looked a lot better without it but I have yet to tell him that. The white chairs were also a great idea because they were tall enough to put them under the kitchen counter, which we will be using as a table. He had also been right about only being right about buying two of everything regarding the plates and cups, and bowls. He has said that it was only two of us and if needed we could use paper plates and stuff if we bring friends over. He was the mature one between us.

Jinyoung was very thoughtful, he bought all dark furniture, except for the chairs, so that we could paint the walls white. This allowed for a combination of both of the things we liked. The white walls allowed for a bright room while using the natural sunlight, and I liked the dark furniture. The only reason the chairs were white was that the kitchen counter was already black along with the cabinets.  In the bedroom, he bought all the furniture and duvet in a dark color. The bed frame was of the color black, the duvet was dark grey, and the nightstands and night lamps were also black. He oped for black and dark grey curtains as well. In all the rooms he made sure that we both felt comfortable and liked what we see.

After making sure that I was satisfied with how the bedroom looked I exit the room making sure to leave the door closed because Jinyoung had a thing about leaving the doors open.

Walking to the kitchen I sat on one of the white chairs and pulled out my phone.

"Could you pass me the salt?" Jinyoung asked as he stirs whatever he was cooking.

Whatever it was I'm sure that it will delicious. Turns out Jinyoung was an excellent cook. His food always looked, smelled, and tasted like something that you can only have at a five-star restaurant.

handing him the slat, I attempt to take a pice of the fried potatoes, keyword attempt because before I was able to grave one he swatted my hand with the wooden spoon.

"Don't! food will be ready in five, just take out the plates and make something to drink"

"Yes, chef!"

Jinyoung laughs and continues to stir. Smiling I place the plates to his left. Jinyoung has things thing with making stuff to drink rather than to buy. What I mean is that if we want juice, we make it instead of buying it, that's the only reason why our fridge is half fruits and the other vegetables.

Taking out the strawberries and one banana, I blend them with milk. After I'm satisfied with how its texture is, I pour them in the glasses and hand one to Jinyoung who is already seated with a plate of food in front of him.  Smiling I sit on the chair to his left, he made fried chicken, a Ceaser salad, and fries.

"Smells good Jin"

"I hope so, I have never made something like this"

"I'm sure it is"

"Thanks and the drink is delicious"

Smiling devour my meal, he is such a damn good cook, "Have you ever thought of opening a restaurant, Jin? because this is amazing"

blushing, he says nothing as he continues to eat.

We both enjoy our food in silence, the only thing we have in common.  We both like silence. We don't feel the need to fill the silence with useless talking.

After we are done talking, I wash the dishes as he dries them and puts them away. That is a rule in the house if one cooks the other washes. After we finish cleaning the kitchen, since it got dirty due to all the frying Jin did, we move to the balcony.

The balcony had a black bench with red soft pillows and a white blanket big enough for the both of us. This apartment might not have a great view but it has a great view of sunsets and sunrises.

As we watch the sunset, I turn to Jinyoung,

"I'm sorry Jinyoung, I'll try harder at working as a team and not let my temper get the best of me"

"I appreciate that. I would like to be friends with you Mark. You seem like a great person to have as a friend."

"Jin, would you ever consider me as something more than a friend?"

He looked at the sunset and then turned to me with a sad smile, "I don't know. I bearly know anything about you. I can't give you an honest answer. But I'll tell you this, I want to be friends because that leaves more room for a possibility of more."

"Yeah, I guess it does"

"I would like to play something with you, I think you would know it as the twenty questions or something like that"

"Sure, you want to start or should I?"

"I'll go first, mm...what is your most embarrassing moment?"

Laughing I take his hand in mine, he has such lovely hands, rough and soft at the same time.

"There was one time, I was in Korea my first time there actually. I was in my teens. Anyway, I attended this party and there was this shy guy. We danced and then he took me to his room because we were having a very good time," blushing I look down at that memory, "so in his bedroom we hit all the bases, we had sex, anyway when I woke I  threw my self out of his window because someone was banging on the door. I walked to my hotel room naked since in my rush I forgot to take my clothes. I was yelled at, thrown stuff at, and was even chased by cops. since nudity was frown upon." although I suffered, I wouldn't change anything because that's when I first met you Park Jinyoung. The guy who took my virginity, well gay virginity.
