Third-person P.O.V.
Six months later
There was nothing that could stop Mark and Jinyoung to keep in touch with one another. Jinyoung told Mark about finally standing up to his family and about his new apartment in Korea. He also mentioned how happy he was now as a professor. He told him about how all his students, boys, and girls, didn't believe that he was their professor since he looked so young. In return, Mark told Jinyoung about how fun it was to go sky diving In Rio De Janeiro, and how delicious the food of Chile was. Mark told him about the nice people he has met on his stay in Ancient Guatemala and how he wished he had visited earlier. At the end of their conversations, they always mentioned going to one another and hang out before the end of the year.
One year later
Mark and Jinyoung still have long phone calls but now they are only once a week rather than every day. The promise of hanging out before the end of the year was broken but neither noticed as they were preoccupied with their own lives. Jinyoung was a famous professor that is loved by all his students. He moved out of his apartment and bought a house that he shares with his one-year-old puppy. Mark in the other hand has stopped touring the world and has started his clothing line, that he has yet to tell Jinyoung about.
One year six months later
Phone calls turned to once a month skype calls. The once a month skype calls turned to once every other month emails. And then those emails just stopped. Neither of them wanted it to end but they had no choice. As the weeks continued the pain of being apart was destroying them. Jinyoung's heart always ached for not being with the one he loves. Mark's heart aches for being the reason the love of his life is not with him. In a desperate attempt to make the aching stope they began looking for someone else to fill their empty heart. To make the pain disappear they attempted to move on and they succeded, well partially succeded.
Three years later
Mark stands behind the big crowd who are cheering on the newlyweds. Mark smiles as his heart breaks for the person he loves has moved on. Even as he stands far away from the couple he can still see how beautiful he looks. Mark can still see his rosy cheeks and can imagine how good he smells and how soft his hand will feel against his own. As the couple moved closer to where Mark stands, Mark hides behind the crowd for he didn't want the groom to see him so sad in a day that is supposed to be filled with happiness.
Watching the couple dance with bright smiles Mark can't help but imagine himself in their place. He can not help but wonder if Jinyoung will be laughing wholeheartedly as he is now if it were their wedding day. Mark imagines what it would have been like if it were his wedding with Jinyoung. But he quickly suppresses those feelings and plasters a fake smile on his face.
As the night processes Mark dances and drinks but he never approaches Jinyoung and his now-husband for he can not promise that he will not weep and tell Jinyoung how much he is hurting.
As Jinyoung dances with his new husband he cannot help but glance at Mark, who is drinking the alcohol faster than the bartender can serve them. As Jinyoung laughs and embraces his husband he cannot help but wonder what it would have been if instead of the man standing beside him was Mark. Although he has agreed to marry the man in front of him he has not forgotten how it felt to be in Mark's arms. He hasn't forgotten how much he cried as he signed the divorce papers. He hasn't forgotten how his heart shatters leaving him behind. He hasn't stopped loving Mark.
Five years later
Walking out of the airport Jinyoung glances at his watch and smiles. The air is not that clean but to him, it feels as if he can finally breathe. Ever since he left this place he has made so many mistakes but now he is back and he is back for good. He is back to claim what belongs to him and only him.
After a three hour drive from the airport, he is finally back to his home, the place he shouldn't have left. The trees have increased in number and the grass has become greener. As he enters the white-colored house he smiles as he sees how things are still the same, except for the number of rooms. A few months before coming back he has requested to increase the number of rooms in case they had friends over.
Placing his suitcase next to the staircase he quickly goes up for his heart cannot wait longer to see his other half.
Entering the study Jinyoung is greeted with a handsome man working diligently on a new clothing line.
"How you been mister soon to be Tuan-Park" Jisnyoung says as he rushed to the handsome man and places a quick kiss on his cheek.
"Mark Tuan Park, has a nice sound to it, don't you think mister soon to be Park Tuan?"
"It does doesn't it"
"I love you, Mister Park Tuan"
"I love you, Mister Tuan Park"

Thank you so much for reading
Honestly, I was not placing of ending this story like this. It was supposed to be a happy ending for one and a sad one for the other whom let their soulmate walk away. But I think that I like this better.
I hope you like this ending and I'm so sorry if it lacks many things.
Thank you for reading
