Emily closed her phone and took a moment to reel from Cam's whole message. he thought she was adorable. he said so almost a thousand times in that message and she still didn't know if she could believe it.
She and Cam had only been talking for maybe a month and a half? he'd liked every one of her posts in that time. what the hell.
The two talked through regular SMS and arranged his living location for when he was in Cincinnati in apparently only a week from now. and he'd be here for half a month.
two and a half weeks with Cam in person, two maxed character paragraphs telling her how great she was, and a shit ton of people who shipped the two of them so hard they asked to be adopted. she even saw a fanfiction floating around somewhere. this was absolutely nuts.
Rilee waltzed into her house, bags from Target in hand. "Hey, Emily, I'm back," she said absentmindedly, setting down three bags on the counter. "What did you do?" she asks, running over to Emily. "Why are you crying?"
"Cam... called me adorable and said a bunch of nice stuff about me, and-"
"And you're hyper-emotional so you started crying without even noticing?" Rilee asked smiling and starting to laugh. Emily only nodded. "You are such a trip, Emily Young."
