Chapter 22 - Detention

3 days! A whole three days of non stop tests, I had to stay back each day and was almost late for my appointment last night. However if it wasn't for ,and I can believe I'm saying this, Tyler flooding the teachers staff room and getting detentions I wouldn't of had a ride.

Luckily I only have one more today but then some Mr. Hart wants to talk to me so that sounds great.

It's also been three days since me and Tony tiger decided to be friends. Do I regret that? Yes. Well, maybe like halfway regret it. The trio have now decided to hang out with us constantly and sit with us at lunch Tyler even stole my seat which is next to Jake. Leaving me to deal with him alone.

So now I can't even hear what Sam, Freya and Ashley mutter about. So I will just have to get to my seat before him. That's my plan as I speedily answered the last question which was honestly extremely easy. I slammed down my pen looking at the clock, 2 minutes.

I stood up chair flying, speeding up to the front I slammed my paper down. "Done?" I nodded as Mr.Lark  pressed his glasses to his nose, nodding slowly.

"Alright you may leave." Letting out a huff of relief I sped back down the rows of chairs picking mine back up throwing my backpack over my shoulder, swinging the door open. 1 minute and the cafeteria is 3 minutes away.... I would have Health meaning Tyler's also 3 minutes away.

I sprinted down the hall skidding around the corner cursing as I barged into something. Looking up I notice the 'thing' was probably a Junior year using one arm to steady himself and the other to steady me.

"I am so sorry!" I burst out as he shrugged me off looking at me, before grinning slightly. "No it's fine. You in a rush?" He asked me as I let out a huff blowing a stray piece of hair out of my face.

"You could say so." I paused as the bell rang my eyes widening. "I should get going I'm really sorry again, see you around I guess!" I rushed out about to run off again my he grabbed my hand.

Quickly, letting go as I turned back around him muttering a sorry. "I didn't catch your name." He said brushing his floppy black hair back. Cause I didn't tell you.

"Bailey, most people seem to like calling me B though." I told him looking around as people rushed past on their way to the canteen. I wasnt trying to be rude I just really wanted this conversation to end. My foot tapping away rapidly.

"Well nice to meet you Bailey, I'm Ethan." He smiles at me. Before looking down at my foot. "See you around." I smiled before spinning around launching myself in the direction of the canteen.

I kicked the doors open, probably looking insane but everyone called me a psycho anyway, so I couldn't care less. I looked at my table to see Ashley, Sam and Max but luckily no Tyler.

Using my height as an advantage I slipped into the queue without anyone noticing, grabbing a burrito for lunch. I paid for my food then basically sprinted towards my seat, I caught eyes with Tyler who was half way there as-well.

Locking eyes, his narrowed whilst mine widened. He moved some random girl who was trying to flirt with him to the side. We both ran. Luckily I was fast, but sadly so was he.

In a panic, I picked up Luke's burrito half eaten. Launching it at Tyler's face hitting him directly. He skidded to a halt. Whilst I threw myself onto my seat, gasping for air.

Everyone was silent wide eyed, whilst Luke was frozen hands still in the position of eating a burrito, mouth open frown on his face. He closed his mouth, slowly moving his hands down to his lap, looking at me.
