It's been days. I'm not sure how long exactly as the days turned into the same cycle. I'd be dragged out whenever Kirsten felt like it or got bored. Me and Tyler locked in the same room with nothing to do but talk.
Although he's still an Asshat I found him way more bearable than before, since now I probably knew more about him than myself.
"Will you stop?" I snapped at Tyler as he caught the tennis ball in his hand, which he'd been throwing at the wall for hours.
"What else do you suggest I do? We're kinda locked in a room." He snapped back. Ok so I may find him more bearable but it can get boring.
"Anything but that!" He groaned dropping the tennis ball before looking around aimlessly. Sighing I leaned further back onto the bed my body sore from the countless times I was dragged out and beaten. Tyler too but he was able to fight them off more.
I sighed feeling bad "How's your head?" I asked him softly he looked over to me with a tired expression.
"Oh you know the blows to the ribs really take away from the pain so it's great" he told me sarcastically leaning his head back. I frowned hating myself for being the reason he's here. At least it's peaceful now.
Just when I thought we'd have a break the door swung open, me and Ty flew to one another ready to cling on to each other, if they drag us out.
"Where the fuck is my money you little bitch?!" Kirsten seethed, a sweat formed on her head she looked deathly pale in a zombie state scratching her arms.
I swallowed hard as Tyler held onto me tighter. "ANSWER ME GOD DAMMIT!" She screeched making us both wince.
"What money?" I asked rolling my eyes not wanting to be dragged out once again. "THE MONEY YOU FUCKING OWE ME! HOW ELSE AM I MEANT TO PAY REESE?" She began tearing everything apart as it dawned on me.
"What is she on about?" Tyler whispered nervously to me as I swore under my breath. "I - um used to ... kinda .. dance for money?" I told him embarrassed as he gave me a shocked yet intrigued look.
"Shut up!" I hissed quietly at him. "I was given the money I earned when I left here I used it for rent and she would steal it for her drugs but it's back home." I explained quietly to him as Kirsten roared in a desperate anger going to all my old hiding spots before ripping the floor board off, to realise nothing was in there.
"Fuck." He stated quietly. Finally we agree on something. "I don't have it." I told her as her eyes snapped to me narrowing coldly.
"What, do you mean you don't have it?" She began walking towards me making Tyler throw himself in front of me to be a barrier between us.
"I mean it's not here because I have no money for you to buy your fucking drugs!" I snapped at her as she huffed before screaming her 'loyal' thugs to come in, to get Ty away from me.
Next thing I knew they went to grab him as he threw a hook their way knocking out one guy to the ground. "I guess your going to have to help me pay Reese in another way! Seen as you don't see yourself as my daughter anymore, I no longer need to protect you!" She snapped as Tyler fought her goons off.
Realisation hit me and my eyes went wide, I looked her in the eyes properly for the first time in a while. "You wouldn't!" I told her in disbelief, Reese had always shown an interest in me since I was young, she always told him I was off limits. Could this woman who's supposedly my mother really do this to me?
"Oh I would and I will! Now be a good girl and come with me now! We both know Reese likes an interesting look!" She hissed sharply as tears spiked my eyes. How is she a 'mother'? Aren't you supposed to love and protect your child from the dangers of the world? Find them the most perfect person alive?
