The next day Annie went to school early. For the excuse she needed to lash out her anger at someone. And that someone happened to be Sasha.
"Hey, Potato Girl."
"Eh! Don't call me that!"
"I don't care."
And with that she punched Sasha in the stomach. When she fell to the ground Annie was about to kick when someone shouted,"Stop!"
She looked over and saw Armin running towards them. Sasha took the opportunity to run away. Annie shouted,"What do you want, Arlert?!"
Armin reached her and panted,"I thought... We had a deal... That you won't bully... Anyone..." Annie said,"That changed when you kissed me. Twice."
Armin grabbed her shoulder and said,"I will not give up. I will make you smile."
Annie just looked at him,"I will not." Armin scowled,"Annie. Please just smile. For me." She didn't reply. After a moment she sighed,"Anything else?" The blond shook his head.
She shrugged his hand away,"Give up Arlert." And she walked away.
The whole day at school Armin could only think of making Annie smile. Even when he walked home he still thought about her.
But he was so deep in thought he had not realized he was in the way of a car. And he wasn't able to avoid.
Annie, Reiner and Bertholdt were walking in the same direction when they saw a commotion. Annie's eyes widened when she saw what happened.
She ran up to the body and cried out,"Armin! Don't go!" She gripped onto his bloodied shoulder, shaking him,"Wake up Armin!" Tears started to flow down her cheeks, and when the first drop fell on Armin's face, rain fell.
Her body shook as she held onto his arm. The ambulance came shortly and took Armin's body away. As Reiner and Bertholdt restrained her she whispered,"Don't go. I don't have anyone... Left..."
Rain shall fall whenever she thought of the two people she cared about so much. And forever she never smiled. That was the fate of the cold hearted princess.
