Amelia's POV
Waking up is never a good part of my day. Especially when I'm pregnant. The only thing on my mind when I wake up when pregnant is that I have to pee. I've already gotten up to pee several times tonight. I groan as I sit up. Thomas chuckles as he walks out of his closet tying his tie. I glare at him and pout. That just makes him laugh more.
I get out of bed and storm over to the bathroom and lock the door behind me. Thomas just laughs even harder if that's possible. I groan loudly before hearing his laughter get further away and our room door close. I sigh and finally let the hoover dam flood gates open. Once I'm done I clean myself up for the day.
I walk out of the bathroom and into my closet and get dressed in whatever fits with the small baby-bump. Although its small it still prevents megrim buttoning my jeans. So I throw in leggings and one of Thomas' white dress shirts, unbuttoned three buttons so it's just above my cleavage and nod to myself in the mirror before heading to the twins room.
I open the door to my babies room to see them both awake and gurgling to themselves. I giggle before pushing the door all the way open and walking over to my darling boys. They start giggling to themselves till I walk over between their cribs. Once they see me they raise their arms towards me.
I pick them up and it dawns on me that we are celebrating their first birthday in a few days. It's crazy to think that I had them in my tummy just a year ago and now they're almost speaking and walking. Tears start to form at the corners of my eyes as I lean down to pick them up. Cami walks in with Rosalie and Lilian perched at her hips. I look over at her and smile as a tear flows down my cheek.
"They grow so fast."
I say and she smiles and nods before rolling her eyes.
"Oh don't you get all soft on me missy."
She says and I laugh while shaking my head as we walk out of the room with our babies in our arms. We walk together down the stairs in silence and place our babies in their play area so we can get they their bottles. Breast feeding hurts too much now with their little teeth but also producing milk to keep up with their hunger is impossible.
We warm their bottles and give each baby their bottle after clipping on their bib. Thomas and Xavier walk in and smile at us. We roll our eyes. Our men love seeing us do our 'motherly duties' as they say. What they don't know is that being a mother isn't all smiles and fun, it comes with a lot of stress and confusion and crying and frustration as well. Although they try to help us as much as they can, they are the heads of the mafia. There's only so much they can really help with before work calls them away again.
I look down at my baby boys and see them finished their bottles so I clean them up before picking them up and placing them each on a hip making sure that their little legs are under my belly. Cami picks up her girls before walking to the van and placing them in their car seats. We get into the front and I turn on the van and drive to the store.
"I wish just sometimes that the boys will go shopping instead of us. I mean you're pregnant and you were high risk before and you shouldn't be going all over town."
She says and I groan and roll my eyes. I know she's concerned about me and the baby but honestly can people just chill out please. I don't need to be babied or reminded that I might become a high risk pregnancy again. She sighs and takes a deep breath.
"I'm sorry I know you don't need to be reminded but in just worried about you."
I sigh before smiling and nodding. As I park the car and we get our children out of the car and into their strollers these men walk past us and look us over before mumbling to each other before walking away. Cami looks at me and rolls her eyes before glaring at the guys as if she were drilling holes right through their heads.
