Charms dragged on, only because of the silence that kept occuring. The spell was already mastered by most of us but revision over what we already knew was vital. The only way we could do well. The faint sounds of another person taking filled my ears and the same words had been heard for the past few weeks. No student would respond as they dared not to as they didn't believe what Tristen was saying but he teased me as sounds of crying were heard as he pretended. Calling for 'mummy' and 'daddy' but I had blocked him out. This was made easier as I had taken to being a silent student in lessons. No sound left me unless it was asked of me but even then only the minimum was spoken, ever.

"Professor, can this freezing charm be used to make a person have nightmares?" It was a crap thing to say as all he knew was I cried and complained of the cold around me as I bitterly wept. He had no clue of the truth. When Flitwick looked up his eyes held an anger I had never seen from him.

"Five points from Slytherin. That is 65 in total if we count those lost just after Christmas. Now Mr Lee, I would suggest you bite your tongue and stop with the incessant comments aimed to disrupt my class. It is quite enough." Professor Flitwick gave a furious glare at the boy who blanched and worked more on the spell. A few Slytherins mumbling about knowing it was him who had lost them all those points.

I knew that wouldn't be the end of it though as he was bound to keep at it and until I stood up for myself, he would continue. I wasn't too fussed as those around him only got more annoyed at him for 'digging up the past too much' and that in itself made the nightmares worth it. The snooty boy was in his place.

By the end of the lesson though I walked and headed to the library but I found my name being called and a boy far taller than me stood before me. Clearly he was annoyed and I just rolled my eyes. He was far taller but he was about as smart as a wasp at a window.

"Mr Lee, another five points for raising your wand to a student, unprovoked as well. That is another five. Now Miss Flint, follow me we have something to talk about." I was so busy thinking that the raised wand had been missed but that didn't matter as a short man waited for me to follow.

His office was a quaint one and the halls leading to it were less than spacious but he promised that we would be leaving shortly. He needed something and as we entered his room he grabbed the book on his desk and then we left again. A spell being muttered and then the halls navigated before the statue was at eye level.

"I am not needed but you are. Please take this with you and hand it to the headmistress. Scottish Thistles." I nodded and watched as the steps moved a little before climbing on and moving with it. Clearly her password was new but it rang familiar as my mind recognised it and tried to locate where I had heard it before.

At the top the wooden door was closed and three distinct voices were heard. One was very low and slow but the other was higher and calm. Then there was the professor that registered with me, the men being unknown but it didn't matter as the door was knocked on as soon as I got to the top. An eerie smile was purposefully placed on my face before anything could be done.

"Enter." Was heard from the woman and it was clear she was at her last tether. The tense conversation had riled her up some but as I opened it I couldn't quite comprehend the scene before me. She was all alone and rubbing her temples. The hat she was always wearing had been placed on the desk and her thin fingers had clearly flung it where it had rested. "Please, for the love of Merlin tell me that the book is here Filius and that the Dark family have responded. Mike Dark is doing my head in about the running of this school. It is really starting to get on my tits." My face didn't change and if it did I had no clue as I watched on silently. A laugh wasn't heard but some joy was felt briefly before I realised that Tiana Dark was a lovely girl and her family weren't exactly helping the professors to like her.
