No time like the present. I quickly left my room in my uniform and walked to breakfast, grabbing all of the food I knew I could handle and I then walked over to see Madam Pomfrey. She wouldn't have to see me again and I was sure that she would be glad of it in the end or rather as soon as she returned home to see her own life.

The doors were pushed open and I plastered a look on my face of glee but I wasn't feeling it and I wasn't able to hide much from that woman. Not that it was a major issue though as she wouldn't be able to pester me for much longer. Hogwarts would always hold a heavy hand over my heart and there was no doubt about that. Madam Pomfrey was absolutely no different either as she had made my last two years a living hell and heaven.

"Madam Pomfrey, I am here to take my tablets home. I am afraid that this is the end of the line for us and our sentimental meetings where you make me drink questionable liquids for my nutrients and I take it like the sucker I am. Don't worry, I will give you a five-star review if you ask me kindly." I turned to the desk and saw that she was watching me with a pair of turned up lips as well as a pair of raised eyebrows.

"I never gave you questionable liquids. They were a supplement for your lack of a diet. Now you must have eaten and your tablets for this morning are here. All of the tablets are in this box. You have more than enough for a month in there." I took the water and then the tablets. They travelled smoothly down my throat and when taken she took the cup and put it onto the desk before standing up and walking all the way to meet me.

"Goodbye, Poppy." I had waited for years to say that to her and finally, it was a time where it was actually appropriate. Or she couldn't tell me off too badly as it was my last day. Still, she pulled me into a hug that crushed bones I never knew that I had.

"Goodbye, Iona." I hugged her so tightly that we were basically enveloping one another. Her clothes were so large that I fell into them and I could smell all of the potions that she used daily on her patients and it just smelt safe to me. Like it was the most soothing smell to have ever existed.

When we both pulled back we had red-rimmed eyes and I smiled widely. She had been one to sneak into my life or rather she was shoved violently and then I was too weak to keep her out. Still, I was glad of it as she made my life a lot better as she spoke bluntly to me and kept nothing back. She also had no malicious intentions with me.

I left the room and almost ran away when I stopped, I didn't have time to turn around as a box was handed to me. I couldn't look back. My life was not going to be the same again. I would never look into that room again, I wouldn't have a reason to. Instead, I would work elsewhere and the room would only live on in my memories.

When I had placed the tablets into my suitcase I closed up my case and placed a treat into the cat cage and then walked out to meet the other seventh years. The hall was so full that it seemed to move at once but most people had sat. Shortly after I entered though, a hand was on mine and I saw that all of my friends and picked tables that formed a circle and I sat at one of the ones on the edge of it. Families didn't recognise me but soon they did as I was introduced and Andrew sat in the chair by me. His hand around the back of my chair and I leant into it. Emily was awkwardly sat to the side but I smiled at her and she gulped down the nerves. Before we could speak Professor Flitwick hit his glass and the hall fell silent.
