Morgan POV
Its been a week since Nicole left and I can't take it. I can't take waking up and not seeing her, not hunting with her, not just being around her. It hurts and its lonely. I lay in bed as the door opens and Jax walks in.
"Morgan..you gotta get out of bed." he says sitting down.
"Why?" I ask. "I miss my baby sister."
"I know you do but you still have a family." he says. "I know it hurts but get out." I sigh and sit up.
"Alright." I say climbing out of bed. He nods and we leave our room, walking down to the living room where Anabella and Trevor are sitting.
"Hey mom." she says. I smile and sit down. "I was gonna work out in the garden. Maybe you could help."
"Umm..sure." I say. She smiles as Jax does the same.
"Good, you need to get out of the house." he says. I roll my eyes and stand up, heading to the kitchen to see a picture of Nicole and I on our birthday with out cake. A tear escapes my eye but I turn away and get a cup of coffee even though I don't really drink much. I walk back and sit down.
"So, I gotta head into town today." Trevor says. "You wanna come with Jax?"
"Sure." he says. "You need anything?"
"No. I'm good." I say. He nods and they stand up, leaving the house.
"Mom, I can see your not okay." Anabella says. "I know you miss auntie Nicole."
"Yes, I do." I say.
"Should I talk to her?" she asks.
"You could try." I say. She nods and stands up.
"But until than lets head outside and work abit to get our minds off of things." she says. I stand up and we get dressed before heading out. We start just cleaning when I see three boys walking around on the far side of the yard.
"Thats the Knights, they're the creeps of the town." one says. As much as I want to get up and chase them away I have to will to.
"Get the fuck off my yard!" Anabella yells scaring me. They laugh but she throws a shovel at them, it sticks in the ground before they're feet. They jump and run off.
"God your bad." I say.
"I get it from you. I saw the way you yelled at kids when I was younger." she says kneeling back down.
"Yeah..sure when I was younger." I say.
"Mom your only 40. Geez. Thats not sooooo bad." she says. I roll my eyes as a car pulls up in the drive way. Than Inez gets out.
"Hey Morgan." she says walking over to me and giving me a hug.
"Hi." I say.
"I heard about what happened with you and Nicole. I went and talked to her but she was like...I don't know..not herself and pushed me off too."
"Why can't you guy's just leave her alone? She wants her peace for now." Anabella says. "Suffocating her won't help."
"Yeah..I know your right. I just miss her. I'm lost without her." I say looking down.
"I know mom. We'll figure something out but leave her alone for now." she says. I nod and sit back. Maybe she's right. Maybe with a little bit of time everything will be okay.
